I’ve given up caring about Wildhack. The decision will be made to fire Babers based on when SU is comfortable doing it, not when is advantageous to our program.

The handling of Boeheim’s retirement was an unforgivable crap shoot and my expectations, like John’s for Syracuse football, are low

I’ll eat crow. I did not think ADJW would make this move until after the season AND I didn’t think he’d do it at all if they won 6+ games

I was wrong. Good move by JW as 8 years was plenty for a sample size. Now he has to show he can make the right hire.

So far he’s replaced the legend in Boeheim with Autry (staff member, alum), Desko with Gait (alum), and Q with Coach Jack (alum)

This however, will be the most important hire of his career. Hope he nails it

There should be zero if and it should have done already. Syracuse has till the gore runs out to get big checks. They aren’t going to pay out Dino and spend money on the buyout Syracuse stopped caring about being competitive in football in the late 1990s

When they hired Nancy they stopped caring about football.

When it comes down to it, we won't know the why or how, but it probably had to do with some contract possibility of always getting a bowl game on keeping Babers on. Now that the last game isn't available (for Babers) and the Orange could win, it means they got some clause. In any case, In my opinion, it isn't right to just oust someone before the end of the season. Yes there are blunders but not all on the same side, and I would argue not all attributable to Babers. After all, and to talk that Wildhack is to the same. He didn't setup the whole ACC deal which we lost almost all our games to almost all the time in the last 8 years either. He inherited it, and yet we have to have someone to blame...

Onondaga is the premier club, #2 you could argue based on what you want out of the club.
