This reminds me of all of the hand-wringing when NBA players started having more power in team construction and destination. There are pros and cons - but it's def not boring.

It also seems like good players from the lower tiers are finding p5 homes and some p5 bench sitters are headed down a notch. This should be good for basketball on the whole.

but the off-season soap opera of the nba makes it a year round league, maybe this does something similar for college basketball

This makes me super happy. Not all college basketball dreams end the same way, nice to see this kid get an opportunity to fulfil a dream that I'm sure he'll relish. I came away really impressed with Johnson when we played them earlier in the year.
