It's showtime -- let the (NBA) games begin!

I honestly think Steph might be a better finisher. They're both pretty incredible. Isaiah is up there too, especially considering he's like 5 feet tall.

For their careers:
Steph: 64.4% at the rim
Kyrie: 59.5% at the rim
Isaiah: 61.3% at the rim
Where did you find these numbers btw?

Yeah UNC didn't get any calls against Gonzaga in the National Title game.

Syracuse wasn't screwed against OSU and Michigan.

The Michigan game wasn't a well officiated game, but I'm not going to complain too much. The Osu game was a robbery, there should have been charges filed.

I didn't say in game 5, I said the series. He was awful the other 4 games.
You said "Tristan thompson is killing them" on the night he had his best game.

The timing made no sense.

Rumor is Boston if Blake Griffin will agree to play for Boston.

The Celtics would offer to trade Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Marcus Smart in a sign and Trade for Blake.

Boston would try to also sign Gordon Hayward.

Make their starting lineup next year.

Fultz, Bradley, Hayward, Griffin, Horford.
Would this lineup take more than one game from Cleveland?

Too much for Griffin. He's made of glass.

So this assumes the Clippers are losing Chris Paul I take it.

When you have star players, you have to take advantage of the window that is presented. Easier said than done because of injuries and other star competition, but looking at teams like OKC and LAC, both squads werent able to fully capitalize (title) with very good squads over a number of years.

I was taking an overview of the series, as the game was ending, he was awful for 4 games, so he had a good game 5 big deal.

On paper that lineup could push Cleveland depending on how ready Fultz is(I've been all in on him being a star pretty quickly), but it all depends on how it gels.

Interesting situation to make so many changes to a 1 seed...but also an interesting situation to be a 1 seed that has very little chance to actually win the conference as currently constructed.

Healthy, that lineup is pretty good. Could almost go five out and definitely would be helpful with Blake being a good passer.

I just don't know what level Blake can get to and how long he can stay healthy.

I agree with your thoughts on Griffin. As a Celts fan, really don't want them to give up much for him. Too fragile, too injury prone, albeit a very good player when healthy. Would take Hayward though as a FA. Interesting to see what Celtics look like next year.

You want to talk about how the game has changed?

1986 celtics, one of the best ever, averaged 1.7 made threes per game.

The 2017 warriors? 12.
86 Celtics could have shot more 3's if it was style of play.
Bird/Ainge/Wedman could all make 3's if needed.

I remember watching the '95 finals and thinking tons of threes were being made. I felt like they'd dump it into Hakeem and if he was doubled effectively he'd just kick it out and one of the shooters: Smith, Horry, Elie, Cassell...would hit a 3. They made 37 3's in 4 games.

Orlando was similar...dump it into Shaq, and Scott, Anderson, Shaw, and Penny would hit 3's off the kick outs. They made 41 3's in 4 games. It seemed like a ton.

This year's finals, the Warriors made 71 3's in 5 games and the Cavs made 66.
