It's showtime -- let the (NBA) games begin!

Oubre didn't get tossed, did he? I don't think he got off the bench after that.

Sunday's game must-see teevee.
Gerald Green on Celtics' Game 4 plans for Wizards: 'We're going to beat their ass'

Last night? Oubre was 100% thrown out.

I guess we disagree on the definition of "cheap shot". To me, a cheap shot is more like a sucker punch. What Oubre did isn't okay by any stretch, but he certainly didn't sneak up on Olynyk. Hell, Olynyk saw it coming and was able to flop to the ground to sell it even more.

Edit: Not exactly recent anymore, but when I think of modern day cheapshots, I think of what Bynum did to Barea.

It makes me feel old to think that Bynum thing isn't considered "recent".

Cheap shot proabbly isn't fair, but that was totally out of line. I think he's gonna be suspended for game 4.

Oubre got a flagrant 2 which comes with an auto suspension unless the NBA downgrades it.

Which they likely won't do as Oubre made contact with ref as well.

Oubre was definitely ejected haha. Facing a possible suspension too.

Oubre, Jennings, and Terry Rozier were all ejected last night.
Duh. I knew I'd do that sooner of later.

I meant I didn't see Olynyk (not Oubre) back in the game. Those Kellys all look alike.

Going out on a limb -- and giving weight to what Jalen Rose says -- I'm thinking no suspension.

Meanwhile, Dahntay Jones is up in Toronto watching the game and licking his chops at the thought of getting a shot at Olynyk if Boston and the Cavs make it to the next round.

Which is complete and utter crap. The Cavs org should be ashamed that they have basically brought Jones in to be a thug off the bench. He's basically a hit man.

I like Jalen Rose as an analyst but his opinion isn't going to carry much weight with the NBA front office.
I still remember on Amare Stoudemire getting suspended for game five in 2009 after Robert Horry hip checked Steve Nash in the closing seconds of game 4.
Jalen didn't think that would be a suspension either.

It is more probable than not Oubre Will be suspended for game four. I can't see that foul being downgraded from a flagrant to which was the call on the court. Olynyk maybe dirty but the play that was the f0up was not a dirty play. Oubre overreacted and made contact with the referee as well when he pushed Olynyk.

Dahntay, no doubt, has a bit of a history, including getting the heave-ho in less than 3 minutes of garbage time the other night. But he's supposedly, to coin a phrase, a great locker-room guy, good vet presence for the yutes (Kyrie, Tristan, Iman, even Love), and played some meaningful minutes last post-season, including the Cavs' comeback win over the Warriors in Game 6, or, just so I can drop one of my favorite words, penultimate game of the Finals.

He's found a nice job niche: playoff player. The Cavs signed him on the last day of the regular season the last two years just to have on the bench for the playoffs. No regular season to mess with, just show-time. Nice work if you can get it.

Anyone else think Mike Brown is doing a terrible job coaching the Warriors?

KD and Steph on the bench at the same time? I'd play Steph with the second unit. His usage is way to low IMO.

If the Warriors lose in the playoffs Brown is going to be the reason why.

They've signed him the last day of the season so that they have a threat to hurt someone on the bench.

I'm not going to lie, I've not watched a second of that series. Obviously they can get away with stuff like that against Utah, but I am a huge proponent of staggering minutes so you'd always have KD or Steph on the court.

They're back to not using Steph enough. Durant seems to be the 1st option with the first unit. Why play them together the entire time if they don't play off each other?

I would play Steph with the 2nd unit as their lead evaporated when they weren't on the court and he plays better when his usage is higher.

I'm not sure if it's because he's still not 100% or it's because they will win the Series anyway, but Durant's defense wasn't good last night.

The play before Oubre got ejected he got hit by his own teammate and thought it was Olynyk.

He isn't going to get a break from the NBA.

Yeah, I'm a Laker fan and I was absolutely disgusted by Bynum doing that. Indefensible and a really punk like way to go out. The Mavs whooped us, handle it like a man.

Dwight Howard's gone out of the playoffs that way several times too, though not quite as dangerously as Bynum. No respect for it though.

What Oubre did was definitely not a cheap shot.

It's okay. Barea is a terrible human being and deserved it. He deserves one right this minute actually.

What has Barea done that's so bad? I've never really cared enough to look into him haha.

I remember a game at UVM where there was a scrum for the ball, the year UVM beat SU. His attempt at the ball including jumping on the pile and throwing two punches at the face of the guy holding the ball. And that was just in college.

Mike Tirico destroyed Bynum when he did what he did.

This was Phil Jackson's last game as an NBA HC.

If JJ had done something dirty and Bynum squared up with him and whooped him, I would've loved it.

Taking a cheap shot on someone that's playing basketball and not in any position to defend themselves doesn't sit right with me, regardless of who it is or what they did. Get them the "right way"(not that's it's right, but you know...) if you're going to get them, IMO.

bynum was just taking care of past injustices committed by JJ.

Pretty crazy that Barea, an undrafted 6 foot guy that's pretty limited, from Northeastern, is still in the league while Bynum...a super talented 7 foot lottery pick has basically been gone for half a decade. A lot of these big guys' bodies just can't hold up. Bynum would've been so good if he stayed healthy.
