It's showtime -- let the (NBA) games begin!

KD mean muggin like he's been part of this matchup all 3 years lol.

It's going exactly as I suspected it might but wished it hadn't.

Turnovers and points in the paint have been the story. Couldn't believe my eyes when Durant strolled through the lane twice for a dunk.

One day he'll land after a dunk and his toothpicks will break in half under him. Don't have anything against KD but I don't ever want him to win a title.

Consensus on Twitter is "RIP NBA"

This can't be what the league is going to be. If Golden State continues this thoughout the series, what's the point?

The "disease of me" WILL set in. Sooner or later.

Uncle Skurey is back! Yes!

College sports will go away once people realize these kids need to be paid. Soccer does a lot of brain damage too gonna have to ban that. Track and field is full of cheaters. Rugby is way too violent. Water polo someone could drown. Swimming is stupid with all those strokes. eSports will go away after teens die playing 5 straight days. Life sucks.

Difference this year vs last..

KD and a healthy Steph. Golden State basically added two healthy top five players to their roster for the rematch.

I felt the same way about the self-organized Heat a couple of years ago. Not a fan of the superteam trend.

Steph getting hurt in last years playoffs was the worst thing for the NBA. They would have won last year, but that team wasn't unbeatable. I don't see how Cleveland keeps this series close.

NBA is over. MLB is dying. Football will be illegal. Sports aren't going to be a thing for long.

MLB's the best its been in over a decade

the NBA was pretty popular when Jordan was winning every year.

The flip side to this is the Warriors won game 1 by 15 last year, and Game 2 by 33, and still lost the series.

That said, I dunno. This Warriors team legit might be the best team in NBA history.

Agreed about the Jordan years. I always thought he had more competition though.

Hard to compare to last year when Durant wasn't there and Curry looked like a different player last night than he did in last years finals. Klay/Draymond shot 6-28 combined and they still won by 22. I get the Cavs role players did nothing though, but I thought Kyrie was pretty exposed defensively last night

Yeah, I'm just trying to make the argument that the Cavs have a chance. They do, cause Lebron. But I think this Warrior team might roll them.

Cleveland role players will play well at home. Cleveland gameplan last night was to play the 3 point line and give up 2s.
Durant torched that.

This series isn't close to over. This series also shows how little NBA coaching matters. Unlike the NFL where coaching makes a difference.

Speaking of coaching, I don't get why Brown insists on sitting Steph and KD at th e same time. Makes no sense

All I can figure is he wants a time when other guys feel like they can get more shots.

It's not like running your offense through Dray and Klay is bad, it just doesn't seem like a great allocation of resources.
