I’m not too worried.
He could but I don’t see him having much leverage here. I don’t know for sure but I could easily see this be a situation where we’re OK he’s moving on as we didn’t expect him to be back. I’ll wait and see where he ends up.And honestly everything is about negotiation. He can jump in the portal, work to use it as some leverage and see if he can get Syracuse to up the package and come back. A few ways this can play out.
Bush birds are overratedI agree but I saw it as a bird in the hand situation
YepNot sure the staff thinks this is as big a loss as the board
The portal has been fine for Cuse. Players lost really is not even close to some other teams. It’s not a huge loss…it stinks but he was hurt a lot. What makes me mad is ACC is a bottom feeder for the Big10 and SEC, and Syracuse is already a middle of the row at best NIL wise in the ACC. Which might be the worst p4 conference.
Great?Hate to see it, great center and awesome young man. I hope he withdraws and stays.
A lot of our big time guys this year went to the draft. Or graduated. The portal has been fine for Cuse. Players lost really is not even close to some other teams.
I’d take him back in a heartbeat
He also couldn’t even afford travel to get to Syracuse when he committed here. Go get the $, cash a check. He isn’t a great center probably average P4 and that’s probably being nice nor is he an NFL prospect.
Agree. This may just be a mutual situation. The general needs the money more and we’re OK not spending as much on him given what’s waiting in the wings. Hornsby has two years left too.Just show him his game scores and ask him how much he thinks he should get. Talking to an offensive player at the bowl game he thinks Hornsby will be the starter next year. We just got two roster openings today. That’s a good thing.
He should talk to JG Wentworth if he needs money now.Agree. This may just be a mutual situation. The general needs the money more and we’re OK not spending as much on him given what’s waiting in the wings. Hornsby has two years left too.
