JB zone is to Dinos O

I have been researching the Baylor/Dino O trying to figure out the type of player at each position that makes this O really tick and in the process of doing so it struck me that JB's Zone is in its own way much like Dino's O.

JB brings in guys from his system to coach. Why because they understand the Zone concepts that he is trying to teach. Same with Dino who just said the the guy from Townson was his first "outsider" in many years.

JB recruits a specific type of player for each position because they fit the Zone that he wants to run.

Same with Dino and his O.

Anyway i find this interesting and it might be the first time that a University will be running a very unique and specific Football and Basketball concept. One with with the focus on the unique O and the other with the unique focus on the D.

Interesting comparison, While I love Dinos system and recruiting thus far; Dinos offense is fast and dynamic amd requires athletes and I dont think he appreciates you comparing his system to Jimmys slow pendulum yawner zone, lol. Go Cuse!
