Shooters are gonna have off nights, I get that. Especially a slow, small shooter that is really the only outside threat and a defense can key in on. That being said, the “defense” that he plays is inexcusable. Zero effort. Packed in so far, even when someone has the ball right in front of him. Never closes out. Allows penetration at an alarming rate. Just abysmal on all levels.

And after all of these years you would hope that Jim would realize that. Why was Joe in the game when it was obvious he didnt have it tonight.

Joe's a chucker just looking to get his. His unwillingness to dish it to a teammate for an easy bucket on the fast break says it all.

Would love to see Quadir and, to a lesser extent, Symir get more run at Joe's expense, but JB's gonna give Joe the GMac circa '06 treatment.

It’s not only Joe who needs to accept this “plain as the nose on your face” reality. Designing the last shot for your tiny senior SG who’s gone 1-11 and been locked up all game, is next level delusion, imo.
