Crazy that only Chris Bell remains from JB's "best class ever." If you asked me last season, I would've said he'd be the first to leave.

I hope to never have a second thought about the kid again. That is a problem with knowing things behind the scenes.
I don’t even know anything from behind the scenes and I know that, knew that. This from enough life experience watching and listening to people. Thank God, finally. Moving on……

Our team didn’t sniff the dance and it’s nothing but vitriol for the 2nd team all ACC teams leading scorer.

No one expected a third year but I doubt the replacement is better. Just have to hope talent is at least close to being equal and the fit works.

Honestly Judah as a 6th man on a good team whos only job is to score the ball with about 24mpg would be his best role.

If he were to stay in college and accept that, he could play anywhere.

Thinking about roster building in the NIL era, this type of arrangement is probably pretty optimal for everyone involved. If you're a program trying to contend, it's hard to keep a guy who's a fringe starter who has a potential NBA future, because he would probably rather start and play more minutes at a lesser program - and get similar money to do it. So it's going to be hard to have an experienced backup who's a true PG, a traditional PF, etc. So you need to find a flawed player who does something very well, and that thing at that position means you can get a valuable 20-25 minutes from them.

So you get your elite PG playing 30 minutes, your elite SG playing 30 minutes, and Judah spelling both just trying to score the ball every time he touches it. Then you go out and get a great rebounder who can't do much else, and he's on the floor spelling your PF/C when your Judah type guy is out there.

You just have to be willing to overpay the fatally flawed specialists, which a contending blue blood type program should be willing to do. You're buying a functional offense while your key starters rest in an era where it's really hard to keep depth and continuity year-to-year.

If you're talking about pure talent or stats, you might be right. However, I think we will find a replacement who is better for the team.
