Wow, the last handful of posts in this thread were a real rollercoaster for me.
Likewise! Sometimes this board can be hazardous to my psyche lol. But I still keep coming back because I’m a Syracuse fan-atic!Wow, the last handful of posts in this thread were a real rollercoaster for me.
Yes.The question is can he withdraw from the draft after he's hired an agent and return to school?
i.e. if it's highly likely he won't go first round and get the big payday?
...because he will likely go second round.
Yes.
Are you saying the invites go out in mid May or that’s when it’s held?If he's not showing up on draft boards at this point, what's the chance he announces sooner rather than later he's returning? Although if he gets invited to the Combine it'll be helpful for next year for him to go through the process now, and that's not until mid-May. He might also want to have pre-draft workouts if invited. It demystifies it for next year, and he has the chance of raising his stock this year. But on the other hand, Sbucketball on the fan board is going nuts waiting and that most likely factors into his timetable.
The Combine itself occurs in mid-May. I'm not sure when they vote on who to invite, but I believe Judah wouldn't know if he's invited until early May.Are you saying the invites go out in mid May or that’s when it’s held?
Lot’s of changes. Last year Chet refused to give his medical info to the Rockets which caused them stress in case he fell to the third pick. I guess prospects won’t be able to put teams in that position going forward.Starting next year the Combine will be a requirement. Not relevant for Judah now - who is slipping to mid/late 2nd round based on recent declarations - but …
Combine to be required for NBA draft selection
Starting in 2024, players who decline to fully participate in the combine will be ineligible for the NBA draft, according to a memo obtained by ESPN.www.espn.com
Devo said on his show yesterday that he thinks Judah won't come back. It was based on opinion and not something Judah told him.
Yeah Devo and Kris Jo are a fun listen. As for good insider intel... not so much.
Welp, here's hoping he isn't smelling deuces and goes 0 for 2.He also said Jesse was staying.

well technically he wanted to stay - we couldnt payHe also said Jesse was staying.
That just seems strange. Unless he’s a first or early second round pick with guaranteed money, you’d think he’d be back.Devo said on his show yesterday that he thinks Judah won't come back. It was based on opinion and not something Judah told him.
Cleaned that up for you.well technically he wanted to stay - wecouldntwouldn't pay
Technically he wanted a bigger bag more than he wanted to stay.well technically he wanted to stay - we couldnt pay
If he wanted to stay, he would’ve ya know, stayed?well technically he wanted to stay - we couldnt pay
Now that you mention it, he did mention once that PauliePeppas from the Board is good looking . . . .Good, Devo is always wrong lol
The key is what does Judah think? FWIW, very few college guys, let alone freshmen, can hang at that level in their first year or two.I understand the money aspect, but anyone watching the playoffs think Judah could hang with that level?
