Judah Mintz to test NBA Draft waters

Buddy and Swider were upperclassmen and we're not going to improve staying any longer. They both were PROVEN 3 point specialists which is highly prized in today's game. Also, Buddy might be playing overseas if not for an inside connection on the Pistons.
then why did you mention Bacot?

This is just my take cannot see him staying in the draft. There’s clearly not a financial need I’m certain that his father will make the correct decision. But stranger things have happened.
I’m usually all for these guys leaving and cashing in, especially when their at their max value. I hope Judah and his camp don’t think he’s done that because he hasn’t. Leaving now could cost him millions.

He has little to no shot in the NBA being that he is solely a down low big. For whatever reasons, teams find no value in a high percentage 2 points post player. Between this upcoming and next (if he can return), he's an NIL millionaire.

Agree totally. Judah is better now than he was the beginning of his freshman year. But I don't think this is the high note that he has the potential to leave on.

Trying to say Bacot’s on the “DL”? Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course…

Judah didn’t seem to be around school much after the season - aside from going to class next yr maybe he has a few incompletes he has to finish up as well - maybe part of the equation is just not wanting to deal with school at all. Hoping not and thinking SU has a support system that helps these guys make school more ‘tolerable’

I've heard that after the semester ended, Judah packed up and left campus. Didn't hear anything about incompletes, him bailing on school, etc.

But it's understandable that he "didn't seem to be around school much" from that point forward, given that he was 100% focused on the NBA draft process.

Never thought of that... Maybe that's why Jason Collins is his hero.

And that’s how easy it is to start baseless rumors about people. A cautionary tale, kids - you’re welcome for the lesson lol.

and then...

Informed yes. However, agents, false promises, trades, etc. Unless a team gives him a contract prior someone better can slip into your spot. Signed, Will Levis
I do agree.. I recall how the Jonny Flynn situation went with you know who

Im a big judah fan and support whatever he decides but there is a biblical joke begging to be made if he leaves. Ill refrain for now.

IMO if he stays in it says more about him wanting to be done with college NOW than it does anything else. Historically when we are debating if a guy should stay or go we are asking "will he be a first rounder" . For a guy to knowingly go into this draft ether means to me he just doesn't want to be here, and is fine making $50k or whatever in the G League was a way out.

Agreed. Financially the smart move is another year at Syracuse. The NIL money he’d get would far outweigh what he’d make in the G league where he’s almost assuredly going to end up if he keeps his name in the draft. The only real reason to leave is to want to be done with college. Which if that’s what he wants then fair play to him.

if his intention was to go pro he prob finished his final class in december. Hard to put the hard hat back on educationally if that is the agenda.

i'll be shocked if he decides to stay
