Eh, we’re also a couple plays away from three wins. Not true.
This team is one or two plays away from seven wins.

This is the dumb game that people play to convince themselves a team is better than their record. All off-season we’re going to read how Rutgers, FSU, Wake, Clemson we’re *really* wins. So we were *actually* a 9-3 team, guys!Re: the “couple plays form seven wins” thing how many plays away were we from losing to Liberty and Virginia Tech?

Conveniently, people don’t include the games we easily could have lost. And it’s all a useless endeavor. Good teams win the close ones. We rarely do.
I’ll go to the Dome when I feel like it regardless of who the coach is. Hate that dramatic stuff. Sometimes going to the Dome is the best thing to do around here that weekend. Enjoy watching high level football in ideal tenperatures while cracking a few blue light cans, hearing the band, seeing campus, etc. Just enjoy the scene every now and then. We’ve sucked for much of 20 years but NOW it’s a deal breaker? Come on. We usually suck. It is what it is, who cares?
Don’t forget how all off season the players will magically improve exponentially to catch up to most of the ACC. But fail to mention you need a coaching staff that is capable of accomplishing that.
Most of our offense is back, and while our defense has some major question marks up front - our DC has proven to be capable of scrapping together at least a decent defense.Don’t forget how all off season the players will magically improve exponentially to catch up to most of the ACC. I think on paper I’m a genius. I’ve personally told myself that innumerable times. I just can’t understand why nobody agrees with me.Most of our offense is back, and while our defense has some major question marks up front - our DC has proven to be capable of scrapping together at least a decent defense.
I think on paper we’re better next year than this year. Thinking 6-7 wins, personally.

I skipped the Dome after today's tailgate and it went better then I thought it would. It's a growing trend and speaks to the product on the field or lack there of
No he’s right.No. Stop it. Just stop it. We absolutely failed to make adjustments after the bye. Put another way, we ran a gimmick, teams adjusted to it, and we failed to evolve in light of their adjustments.
Also, we can’t mathematically be one play away from 7 wins. We only won 5 games.

And yet we won 5 this year? Winning one or two more games isn’t that much of stretch to me?I don’t see 7 at all, don’t even see 6 but also think that’s more realistic. I don’t see a major improvement in the oline unless we get at least someone in the portal. The line has done better against weak competition but has played like last year against average to above average competition.
Dline depth is a concern, in reality depth almost everywhere is a concern. We don’t have a consistent WR, we have guys that sporadically can make a play. We’re so bad at that position people see 1-2 good plays in a game and think there’s going to be some huge improvement next year in that group. Coaching staff hasn’t shown it can coach up WR’s, so not sure where that belief comes from. Watch any other CFB team and you can see how bad our WR’s are as well an many other positions.
People got too excited winning against some average teams, we also lost to some average - below average teams. There’s nothing DB has done with his recruits since he’s been here to believe things are turning around.
You've been telling me you're a genius since you were seventeenI think on paper I’m a genius. I’ve personally told myself that innumerable times. I just can’t understand why nobody agrees with me.

Yes, we will lack depth and seemingly never have a legit good OL. I’m not expecting those things to change. But I do think Shrader should be improved in his second full year as a starter….because he has the raw tools and some of his weaknesses can be improved as he becomes a veteran starter. Dual threat QB is always the ticket to success at SU and covers for a lot of sins.
Jackson is starting to emerge at WR, and Alford would seem to be a young guy with tools who can become an impact player.
What if we’re a team that won a couple of close ones and lost 3 close ones and that means we’re like on the bad side of mediocreThis is the dumb game that people play to convince themselves a team is better than their record. Just like the rest of us he’s gatherin’ up the tears. You've been telling me you're a genius since you were seventeen
In all the time I've known you I still don't know what you mean
The weekend at the college didn't turn out like you planned
The things that pass for knowledge I can't understand
Aye, the first hour after a loss I swear I’m done, but I will be back if it’s Dino , or anybody else, it’s what I do on Saturdays in the fall , as long as I am physically able .I’ll go to the Dome when I feel like it regardless of who the coach is. I think we need a flush again. This feels like post 2007 season. Know this isn’t working and are hanging onIm ok with whoever transferring. The programs on life support and needs a new coach.
Sorry , this is not like Grob, no way. You can make good arguments for replacing coach, but this is not Grob like.I think we need a flush again. This feels like post 2007 season. Know this isn’t working and are hanging on
