Just curious

Wearing orange, of course. This afternoon I strung orange and blue lights around a bush but that’s not really a ritual, more a good luck thing. We used to watch with our friends but . . . . Covid. I have a friend who wears SU underwear, but he’s a man, so I doubt that will be of much interest to you guys.

My brother is a hard core Duke fan and one season he got into this ritual of running his dog around his house during commercials, patting the dog on the head a certain number of times, then if Duke was behind he’d run the dog around the house counter clockwise. My bro is cray cray. The dog is dead.

So sad

Oh my gosh. I was heavily liquored up & then brought here unknowingly by a group of college-aged co-workers after a shift at my summer job on my 16th (yes, 16th) birthday. I have no memory of the drive & woke up inside. Ended up on the stage as the subject of some sort of demonstration involving 2 female performers & a glass of ice cubes that I went in & out of consciousness for as a crowd of 15-20 people cheered. I’d recommend this place to absolutely nobody...there’s some things that you just can’t un-see.
Should have just gone to Joe’s Pizza imo.

Does anybody have pre game rituals? I basically just pace around mumbling to myself. Spill your beans
From the time I wake up on weekend games or before evening games, I stay busy doing "stuff"! Anything.. I'll work my wife's honey do list, fix some obscure thing, reorganize the CDs, wash cars, spray weed killer or do my taxes. I do whatever I can do to stay busy, and to make time go faster, I'll try to do as many things as possible up until tipoff. If we lose, I'm not doing anything else for the day, but in my head, I can still claim it as a productive.

Second rule: I try not have a beverage until tip off.

PS.. My wife loves my pregame mode, she's figured out that it's a perfect time to send me on a run to Sams.

I used to:
wear my one Orange SU t-shirt
drink something orange
eat something orange
cross my legs in the direction of our basket
cross my arms in the direction of our basket
when needing/wishing for a 3-pointer, I’d cross fingers on both hands, and tap them on my temples three times
not answer the phone or talk to anyone

That was a while ago. Recently, I do none of that, and I’m just 75% engaged and 25% doing the game thread thang.

I have to remember which shirt is my lucky shirt and not the unlucky shirt, whether I need a hoody and whether that is the lucky hoody or unlucky hoody. I am not sure it will be cold enough for my wool Cuse socks, but they might not be lucky. I have to start the game on time so it is not lagging 1-2 minutes behind the game thread. I have to make sure I have the right clothing combination before the game starts. The script hoody is definitely bad luck.
