Kansas Can, SU Couldn't Postgame Thread

Tomorrow is a must win. Tennessee is probably a need to have too or you’re looking at having to win about 13 ACC games.

Mind boggling how bad offensively we are. Missing Donnie isn’t an excuse. It’s still all high P&R and ISO ball.

I saw Tennessee play yesterday and we will be huge underdogs against them even if Donnie returns.

-if Kansas wanted to run up the score for point differential when the game was over, we shoulda buried them with hard fouls

All of his previous coaches should be ashamed of themselves. Feels like this is fixable. This was my first time being able to watch this year. JJ’s hitch and Kyle shot were shocking. How does that happen?

Kyle can’t play man. It literally more than cancels out the good things he does. He can’t play until he fixes this sht. He should be completely and totally ashamed of himself. Wait until teams do hack a shaq.

Kyle is the least of our problems. He’s been our best player these two games. The perimeter guys have been horrible offensively outside of Betsey. Every single one of them.

I think Tennesse might be a bad matchup for us we will see but I thought out of Houston, Kansas, and Tennesse they were the team that we didn't match up well against. It is their style of play that we could have real trouble with compared to Houston and Kansas.

Team needs to do some soul searching. The played hard yesterday but were clearly flat today. Every loss vs a top team is a missed opportunity. They need to dig deep and win the next two. I feel the next two could make or break the season. They will either find themselves or set a standard of being good but not quite good enough to beat quality teams.

I really hope they take their next opponent to the woodshed. That would be a good sign. All bets are off if we drop the next one.

If Red doesn’t have them in a gym shooting 100 free throws a piece he needs to. Also our guards need to practice 3 pointers.

We have a lot of hustle and grit but not a lot of fundamentals. We can’t shoot or rebound.

i'm a big fan of pressure D , but with the quick turnarounds probably not the best strategy. if the legs are gone the jumper follows .

The team is not put in a position to win. I will not be gaslit. Nobody says you have to like it, but the criticisms of the coaching staff will continue since that is part of what happens in a season. Just because you may think he's gone if they miss the tournament that does not mean we will not comment on the coaching, or a lack thereof.

Only positive statistic — Kansas 15 TOs, Syracuse 2. The old rule of thumb is a TO is -1 point.

Very disappointed in the outcome today. Still can’t shoot foul shots. Cannot get key rebounds. Our guards cannot get by bigger guards.

Sadly I think this nightmare will be over soon. But then wildhack (who has poor success with coaching hires) will get another crack at it.

Going to be a tough pill for some to swallow: we are a much better team, but still not good enough. That's the case here I'm afraid.

This game gave me a headache!
This could be the worst shooting team in the last 50 years. Can't make anything from the perimeter ... or the free throw line. Free throw shooting is part of the game and it has to be considered in recruiting. Can't have a whole team of brick layers. We're going to lose a lot of games this year because of the free throws.
I give Red kudos for the way this team plays defense. Great. But the offensive end? Massive headache.

If it is by points we may not be in the bottom as we will be one of the higher ranked 0-2 teams as we didnt really get blown out.
