Keeping score on the Triche/Scoop debate

Ok I understand your enthusiasm and appreciate that people sometimes use middle school references to each other on this board. I come here to give my opinion and enjoy the opinion of others. I don't come here to have someone using hindsight give my statements back to me or explained why it or I was wrong. I am wrong sometimes about sports, because passion and orange colored glasses get in the way. I got married so I would have Someone in my life to explain my opinion to me not random guy or gal on the sports blog. IMHO

Seriously, why do you do this? I've been on Syracuse internet boards for over 20 years and I have never seen someone do this stuff. It would never occur to me to keep a record of who said what and then play it back to them to "prove" "I was right and these posters were wrong"

Most of us are right about some things and wrong about others but in the end they are only opinions. For the life of me I cannot figure out what would possess a person to do what you do.

Why not just post your opinions and let your track record speak for itself? You will either develop the reputation for credibility or you won't. Nobody needs you to be the judge of which posters are right or wrong about which topics. Don't you realize the irony of saying "Please don't bother whining and complaining about my references to old posts."?

That's exactly what you are doing; whining and complaining about others' old posts.
I think you'll gain more stature simply by posting your thoughts and letting it go at that. Keeping track of who said what or who slighted you a year ago just comes off as very, very odd.
