You are correct. People don't want the news anymore. They want their news. And the society is so much worse off for it.That's fair, many folks operate with implicit biases anymore it seems vs a general curiosity for knowledge. Media outlets have businesses to run thus pander to clicks and eye balls. It's an odd dynamic to witness that, as you stated, people levels of scrutiny are largely based on if they like a story or not.
Everyone thinks their tribe is the Jedi and opposite is the Sith... I'll just continue to be a wookie.
Hmmm. Maybe we ought to tamp down the discussion about it. Now if he doesn't get it it's going to be a massive disappointment. That may be why Fran prefers all to be quiet about it. A poll might just reflect the usual pessimism of Syracuse fans.We should have a poll, and I would if I knew how to set it up, on whether we think McCord will get
another year. I was going to ask the question but maybe we are better off doing it without any names attached.
There’s also one on RedditFunny enough, we have a thread rolling DEEP called “McCord”. I recommend making a desirable snack, grabbing a stiff drink and dive in. There’s about 50+ pages on this. Enjoy the ride, buckle in.

Yep, keeping it about the team and just plain protecting Kyle from any more questions right nowI actually appreciate Fran making him not available today.
Had he been available all they would have asked was about waiver etc.
Today was supposed to be about the holiday bowl
Big props to Coach Fran
Safire spoke at my graduation. He was very good but I remember it being pretty brief.Phrase coined by Spiro's speechwriter, SU grad and luminary William Safire.
Whether he gets another year or not I'm still gonna think the NCAA is a bunch of hacksHmmm. Maybe we ought to tamp down the discussion about it. We aren't the coach. We are fans. And the coaches can't want us to be excited about the team, donate to the NIL and then not talk about what would be the most important development the program could even imagine. Plus, what we talk about here, will have zero impact on what the NCAA rules. If that isn't true, I want some money.Hmmm. Maybe we ought to tamp down the discussion about it. Eh I bet everybody knows he can ask for pretty much everything and he’d get it. Would just increase the donations anywaySo how big will the bag have to be if he gets granted another year?
Why is everybody so obsessed with "the bag"? Kids get paid to play everywhere. If the year is granted Kyle isn't going to play anywhere else but here, it will work itself out.
Ever hear of curiosity? Why is everybody so obsessed with "the bag"? Kids get paid to play everywhere. If the year is granted Kyle isn't going to play anywhere else but here, it will work itself out.
According to this he's appealing the denial of the waiver request.

we knew thatAccording to this he's appealing the denial of the waiver request.
I bet the source is this message board. Of course they put it behind a paywall. Local newspapers have no future.According to this he's appealing the denial of the waiver request.
Maybe not everyone. I didn't.we knew that
It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal!Maybe not everyone. I didn't.
It was out there. I think he was denied and then they went back with the Ohio St backing. I might have that part wrong but it was out there that he was denied. They seem more upbeat about their chances on the appeal. I have no idea why.Maybe not everyone. I didn't.
