LeQuint Allen to NFL Draft

He's been an unsung hero for us this year.

We don't win the UNLV game without his two ridiculous runs. Last night, he was very, very good.

I think he could be even better next year with the right focus given to the running game.

If Kyle is denied, there’s more NIL $ to spread around. That could impact a couple players. Though it has been hinted to me that the $ offered to Kyle is for him only…we’ll see.
Yea I think this is right. There’s a special Kyle bucket. Lequint has a good offer to return. It’s just whether he wants to try for the nfl now or get stronger and try next year.

Great for SU if he comes back. But not sure if NFL is the goal that taking another 300 hits really improves his NFL stock. It is what it is.

I saw him make a cut to the hole not designed for where he was supposed to go. Loved it! Best hands at RB I can remember, maybe Drummond, and isn't afraid to block.

Lequint is an all timer in my book. With all the bs that the university put him through, his dad, coaching changes, I wouldn’t have blamed him for transferring or quitting football altogether. He stuck with it and crushed it. Love him and will be rooting for him wherever life takes him.

I need to go back and watch games from early in the season vs. late in the season. I feel like the coaching staff figured out how to exploit his strengths as the season went on. He frustrated me in September.

Hope we get another year out of him the OL should be better and more consistent. His pass catching will really help out a new QB if we don't have Kyle and we will be going up against some scary DLs on the road.

Careful here. What about Yasin? He'll be expecting more carries in 2025. How does that work if LQA comes back? We don't want to lose Yasin to the portal. Dude looked like a young Eddie George on KOs last night.

If the dude who just ran for a thousand yards and caught 64 passes wants to come back you take him back regardless of who it might scare away.

FIFY to avoid embarrassment. I mean come on man! How long have you been on the board? Get with it. :)

I agree. No slight on LQA at all. They need to figure out a way to make it work for both guys (Maybe we just run more next season). I'm a huge fan of Yasin and think he could be an all-timer for Cuse.

#1 is great, but I think you ask him if he wants 44 and all the NIL that would probably come along with it. Totally his choice.

Is there any legal issue with copyright and 44 if SU were to give a player the number and its NIL value?

Even if McCord is back I expect the offense will balance the run a bit more next season.

Absolutely,

There is no other decision for Lequint.

Lequint is as loyal as it comes to Cuse. This decision will be strictly coming back for an extra year or heading off to the NFL and try his luck.

I think LQA needs one more year to prove again that he can do this.

The refreshing part about all of this is, our HC will truly tell LQA what is best for him and I think that’s why he said what he said about talking to Fran on Tuesday.
If im LA and he is offered solid NIL money he should come back regardless of what Kyle decides. Fran and the staff need to get him into speed training. If he can improve his speed he will most definitely make an NFL roster.
