The bigger question is, whose bowel movements has he taken a handful of? Compared to the off-field antics of Petrino or Kiffen, that's some pretty nasty, serious stuff. We'd have been better off with Fightin' Eddie O.

There were never any facts that ash was our #1 or got an offer. I'm glad Coyle interviewed or talked to several different style of coaches to get a perspective.

When Marone was hired there was not much rejoicing. He did pretty well
When Shafer was hired the board was pretty happy ( you know , lock them in the dome )
Babers has near 100 % percent approval ( including me)

The point being that the orginal post was pretty spot on. You just can't tell what will play out.

That's true - but I think of the positives of being a fan like this:

50% joy of winning after the game
30% joy of watching the game with a chance of winning
20% joy of thinking about how things could go
