2021 - 103 (7.1) / 43 (6.5) / +.6
This year - 53 (6) / 130 (2) / +4

Looking over history, ACC refs don't like us, and they really don't like us when we have a black guy as head coach.

I would add maybe not having Tucker touch the ball almost the entire second half as well. Not Tommy’s fault either

So we’re all in agreement that it was DEF coaching if it wasn’t Tommy?

Thanks for posting the stats.

ACC officials like Dino and respect him. You can't blame them for an undisciplined team.

Also, these guys aren't all from the south, many are from the old big east.

Poor special teams lost the game. In addition the officiating was a disaster.
Tommy didn’t lose the game.

Yep, based on history.

Based on history? Again, quite interesting.

Feel free to support your apparent & curious intentional libel. I doubt you'll be able to find anything close to my blaming TD for all of our issues and/or being the complete and proximate cause of our offensive woes that may certify your peculiar disposition here.

Regardless, you should make a better effort to stay in the moment/on point when engaging in a conversation, you'll earn more respect/credibility that way. Not to mention, as a staff member here, I'd expect better, let alone an unwarranted ad hominem type tilt.

Ohio and Rutgers are the two least penalized teams through three weeks

Just a FYI but that site only includes games against FBS teams, so it would exclude our penalties against Albany.

Per the NCAA site so far this year we're 121st of 130 teams with a 9.33 avg per game. Interestingly, 7 of the bottom 10 have winning records and that group includes Alabama. Maybe Marrone spread the Syracuse penalty virus around there.

Im not talking about you. I’m talking about the history of Tommy being the fall guy for everything. As to you, look at your first post I responded to.

CBS full rankings have Liberty at #27, Syracuse at #79.

AP poll has Liberty at #27. Coaches poll has Liberty at #26. (Based on receiving votes)

We're going to need to have a good game.

Liberty has a better head coach, QB and players in general. They are the better team at home, away or on Mars. That doesn’t mean we can’t/won’t beat them but we haven’t won this kind of game in over two seasons so odds say we drop it.

I was all in until you found the need to spew race, along with a sprinkle of geographical bias, into the mix. Ignorance and arrogance often go hand-in-hand...this is a perfect example.

I think the poster was joking.

I think it deserves way more research and is a bold claim to make without more proof.

Given the history of the south, there's probably more a burden on you to prove that it's not a more racist part of the country than not. It's also OT.

I agree with the HC & QB being better at Liberty but overall, Cuse has more talent and again, Liberty is facing a completely new team vs. last year. Our d-line and LB's should pressure Willis and control their run game. On offense, our o-line could dominate and Tucker & Howard may run wild. Also, look for the Cuse to show some reverses or a trick play or two.
There is no reason why Cuse can't win this game with fans in the stands and personally, I think the Flames are overrated and will be served a big L on Friday night in the Dome.

While the point spread is informative for our betting specialists, games are won and lost on the field. We're playing at home with a good defense against one of the single best offensive players we'll see. Play for ball control, field position, and containment of their QB. We'll be competitive and really hope we'll play disciplined football with less mistakes than Liberty. Turn them over and not they us. Open some holes for our RB's and play football. OUR HOUSE !! C'mon coaches, bring your A Game, too...

The only thing stopping me from making a trip to PA to bet against SU is the Friday night factor. Worse SU teams have beaten better opponents on Friday nights in the Dome.

Ain't life a bitch.

Yup. This 100%. Throw the spread out on a Friday night in the 315. Bama would be a game in the 4th quarter
