You won't have to eat crow...one great throw against Albany doesn't make a career. His large body of work speaks for itself. TD is what he is...a mechanically well trained QB with a great arm and (so far) has shown very little in game management skills and finding ways to move the sticks.Fair enough. But I get so many Jay Cutler vibes from TD. Great arm, can make every throw, but something's "missing". That type of QB thrives under a good OL, but flounders when facing a good/great defense. Its like there's no other tricks in the bag because he can't step up when rushed, or improvise when needed.
In ACC play I don't see Tommy doing much of anything to be honest. Feature ST, add the threat of a mobile GS, and we might have something to work with moving forward. JMHO
Oh, and by the way- I am hoping for an extra crispy serving of CROW should TD prove me wrong.
GS doesn't have perfect mechanics but he might possess the necessary intangibles to run this offense. 690 west's assessment of GS' throwing is premature at best and idiotic at worse because we've seen so little of him in game situations.
I have a funny feeling Dino trots GS out to start the game...no inside info just a hunch.
