Salty? No.Man people here are still salty over Marrone? It's been 3 years, get over it.
The guy's a very good coach and I'm not surprised at all that most NFL teams want him.
but he's a football coach...Are you still good friends with all of the people who have broken up with you?![]()

a lot of people here act like they have, and plan to again in some imaginary world of theirs. Most of us have never had s e x with Doug Marrone.
baloney sandwichesa lot of people here act like they have, and plan to again in some imaginary world of theirs.
this reminds me of Sandler in Pixels leaving the war room going 'sandwich guy is here!...got ya'baloney sandwiches
there is one poster that I wouldn't bet against having that fantasy.a lot of people here act like they have, and plan to again in some imaginary world of theirs.

You guys never give poor Chip a break.
Oh Lord
Is everyone who leaves a job and gets a new job a quitter? Why does everything need to be boiled down into one label? The guy coached 2 years there. He had an option in his contract that said if there was an ownership change, he could leave and collect his entire future check. The Bills agreed to it. You know what that means? It means both Marrone and the Bills agreed that was a possibility and that it was ok if Marrone left. If not, the Bills would not have agreed to it. Marrone exercised an option the Bills provided to him. He then got another job, albeit not his optimal one. Not sure how that is a quitter. If he left for another HC job, would he be a "quitter" or an opportunist? But I'm still salty. That salt comes more from my Bills hat than my SU hat.
I'm not a fan of quitters.
how many times do we have to have this discussion??Is everyone who leaves a job and gets a new job a quitter? Why does everything need to be boiled down into one label? The guy coached 2 years there. quitting another job = good
quitting for no job = bad
marrone is a QUITTER

No QB, No QB, QB, maybe has a QB next season.Marrone's 4...Browns Eagles Giants and Saints.
Is there another EJ out there in the upcoming draft? No QB, No QB, QB, maybe has a QB next season.
Not sure how many times it will take. He left a job and got $4M for leaving..in hopes of finding another HC job...instead he took an Asst. job. This was all agreed upon as an option by the Bills before Marrone took the Bills job.how many times do we have to have this discussion??

So you've never quit a job in your life?hope: the word the church of rainbows and unicorns genuflect to.
so he smartly put an option to quit in his contract??
big whoop.
still makes him a QUITTER.
not without a better job...now stay with me here...LINED UP AND SIGNED.So you've never quit a job in your life?

I'm not a fan of quitters. Which was why I had trouble viewing Mike Williams as an "SU grad" during his NFL time. Probably never rooted less for a former player.
If only for a year, I thought it was hilarious that Marrone ended up being an OL coach for a franchise with no fanbase. Only time heals the wounds he caused.
