There's a difference between dual threat and someone who can extend plays.
Dual threat is just as likely to run the ball as throw it, you can use more RPO, and there's enough speed to make it work.
Extending plays, to me, is that you can feel the pocket collapse, know when to get out of there, keep your eyes downfield, and either make a run for it, or find a receiver breaking open down the field. That last part is what, in my opinion, Tommy really struggles with. I'm sure I'll be told I'm wrong or I'm stupid. Maybe it's something he can improve upon.
I saw more of it with Morgan in 1 drive plus 1 start than I saw all of last year and the first 7 games this year. It's something, at a minimum, that we really need given the type of OL talent we can realistically recruit.
