That sum could be as much as $15 million, according to published reports. The Cardinals had already self-imposed a postseason ban for the 2015-16 season.
I can just picture the disciplinary committee sitting around with self-satisfied, smug looks on their faces until one of their assistants comes back into the room and notifies them that the new national champion for 2013 is none other than Chris Webber's Michigan Wolverines.
Can you imagine the horrified looks on their faces as they start scrambling for a way to keep from giving it to Michigan only to find out that the next in line is the, you-guessed-it, twice-hammered Jimmy Boeheim Syracuse Orange...
