Would be nice if they showed us a picture of the hat so we know what it looks like...
perhaps taking a closer look to the post you replied to will help you out here. lol

A few things I’d like to see after 8 days off in The 2nd Annual Odierna Bowl tonight:

- Mullen not taking faceoffs if we’re up 10 in the 2nd half. We’re on a short week before Colgate & I’d like to see Angelo get extended reps outside of going in after violations.

- McCool & Co. getting the ball out fast on clears in preparation for Colgate’s 10 man this week. Rice & English making solid decisions on “punt return clears” & not forcing it trying to swim 2 defenders at midfield if it’s not necessary.

- 2+ goals (I think he gets a hatty) on at least 40% shooting for Deere. I think they’ll look to feed him early & often to boost his confidence & get him going. Deere needs to show improvement in his shot placement & bury these opportunities.

- Extended PT for Bear. I’d personally love to see him get runs on the 2nd mid line (I have visions of Hottle drawing a slide & slinging it to Bear to unleash a lefty wing rip) but hoping for at least a full quarter on attack.

- McCarthy with at least a goal but ideally 2. He’s beaten his man down the alley or off hesitation plenty this year but he needs to take shots when open once his hands are free instead of immediately passing to X or hesitating & inviting the trail check. We really need to get his confidence going. Him being a threat will open up so much on offense.

- Plenty of young guys in the 2nd half. Scott, Kellogg, Bolognino, O’Farrell, Hunter. Cam Ryan, Kolby White, & Jack Schell have all burned their RS as well.

- Spallina & Hiltz each hitting 200 career points. Let’s get this awesome milestone out of the way.

- VALUE THE BALL on offense & no offsides/substitution penalties….we’re too far into the season for that & need it ironed out before conference play.

Anyone outside of NY have a line on the game?

Good list and I think pretty much the same for myself on what I would like to see.

Not sure if Manhattan runs a 10 man but if they jumped into it a few times tonight that wouldn't be the worst thing, Colgate's 10 man is a huge albatross for Saturday, really concerned how SU is gonna look against it.

I think we need to see Deere play well today. If he can't score or gets stone a few times again you really have to consider if giving Bear some run there. Can't play 5 on 6 offensively.

Agree on Mullen, if SU can get out to a quick 3 or 4 goal lead, I'd start givign Angelo run right away. Last thing you need is Mullen getting hurt late int he 2nd qtr up 8+ goals.

Really hope to see SU not sleep walk through a quarter + in the 2nd half. SU played one of its better 2nd halves against Hop but I am still worried that the second half sloppiness and just general bad play is far from being over.

Agree on the offsides, it's been an epidemic under Gait, no idea why we can't clean that up.

Good luck to the Orange tonight! I can't watch the game live(might be best thing for them) as I have a commitment tonight. I hope they cover.

Manhattan might have the fewest players I've seen in a long time. They got at best 35 ish players.
