What were the other offers Lamson received? That’s what a segment of posters here have convinced themselves of
Meanwhile Lamson was highly recruited and Shrader was a 4*

I am by no means an expert, but it seems to me not folding in some play action passes with a running back as good as Sean Tucker borders on coaching malpractice.
The explosion of offense ala B12 (that spread everywhere) has been countered a bit. Defenses know how to slow them now. People are better at stopping RPO’s.
I think what’s coming next isn’t here yet
I agree 144%!!!
Liberty was totally selling out to stop the run.
We didn’t try a single play-action pass, or screen, or anything other than trying to run into a stacked box.
it was because we didn’t want FSU to have any film on it.
Boise St and LouisvilleWhat were the other offers Lamson received?
So “highly recruited “?Boise St and Louisville
So neither was scared off by Dino’s playing favorites? And why did Dino play Rex when TD was healthy last year.schrader came here because he was moved to a wr and saw an opportunity to still play power 5 football here and Lamson is our 4th string qb … your point ? And honestly I do t remember lamson being a 4 start recruit at all I could be wrong tho.
That doesn’t scream elite 4 star quarterback to me lolBoise St and Louisville
Sure. Boise and Louisville are both good offers for a QBSo “highly recruited “?
I didn’t say he was elite or 4* - that’s something you addedThat doesn’t scream elite 4 star quarterback to me lol
Liberty was the first game they didn’t have at least three play action passes, with a close to 100% completion rateI am by no means an expert, but it seems to me not folding in some play action passes with a running back as good as Sean Tucker borders on coaching malpractice.
I'd be shocked if Lamson takes a snap this season. That's not a comment on his ability or lack thereof. There are too many options ahead of him with game experience. At this point if Lamson can play put him in a game.
He can play in 4 games and still RS.
We need better QB play period.
Not asking for Heisman level play.
But just be able to functionally pass the ball and sustain a couple of drives.
Well, a "D" is a passing grade, so...That’s like saying if you get a D on a test and 7 of the other 25 people in the class get a D on a test (and they’re supposed to be smarter than you), then a D is fine? My kid would definitely use this logic.
My question is: Is our offense more complicated than most other teams? If so, why? Does it need to be? For the last two years, I have been confident the OL issues have been the primary problem. And I still believe that. No doubt, our deficiencies at QB are a contributing factor. Now I wonder if our WRs are just not getting the concepts. Is it a matter of not being able to understand how the routes are schemed?
I agree.I'd trade both our bas right now for Rattler Mertz or Mcanamara.
had a bunch of college courses where a 25 was a solid A when half the class gets a zero.Well, a "D" is a passing grade, so...
