One of the worst calls I can remember. Even if they didn't make it they would have had good field position. Relying on that lousy defense to get the ball back was stupid. I a FG put them ahead it's a different deal.

and they didn't even try to onside it.

What the heck happened on the defensive TD?

It was knocked loose and literally bounced off a player into his hands.

I disagree. I thought it was a brilliant call. Miami expected it to got to LQA. Nixon outsmarted them.

Losing yards was fine too I'm sure Pena was told go down if they sniff it out don't fight for yards and maybe fumble.

No first down and a punt I think Miami gets it back on their 20 with 20-25 seconds. It was an excellent non pass play call.

I actually kind of get it. He turned us into a 3 down running team vs a 4 down McCord passing attack had we gotten it back tied. Our oline showed a lot today that they hadn't prior and they weren't stopping McCord anymore at that point. Kyle was just going to keep working 29 up and down the field to Meeks, Pena, or Allen

Our defense was pretty bad and lacked fire to start the game.

Miami was #1 total offense and scoring offense in the country all season. Held them under their averages. Made huge plays, including a scoop and score.

I think that first Miami TD in the 2nd half was not a false start. Just a creative play where the RB went in motion late which I think is legal.

I just listened to Cristobal's press conference. What a friggin tool. He doesn't understand what half of the penalties were. On the long run that was called back on the hold, there was actually 2 players holding our same player. So it could have been called on either one. He barely gave Syracuse any credit. Didn't even mention Kyle who has stood above your QB all season. Tool, tool, tool.

What an amazing day. Great tailgate and an even better game. Was the best Syracuse game I’ve ever been to and I’ve had season tickets since 2018. Had to miss Clemson in 2017 so it’s nice to finally get to see a massive win in person. God I love the Dome
