Mike Lindsley, a radio host in Albany and former talk show host for The Score 1260 and Cumulus Media in Syracuse, drew national attention Tuesday when a caller went on the air pretending to be Shane Spencer to discuss performance-enhancing drugs in baseball.

According to various media reports, Lindsley, who left Syracuse in late March after more than a decade working in the area, performed a half-hour interview with the imposter. Posing as Spencer, the imposter admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs, said Roger Clemens used PEDs, claimed Derek Jeter wasn't a leader and warned that Jeter and Mariano Rivera could have used PEDs.

"I listened to (the interview) for about a minute and I about threw up,'' the real Shane Spencer told ESPN.com. "I just want it out there that it wasn't me.
