Kids wanted a "family movie night" (you know, because we never do that these days).

We ended up watching Christopher Robin. #sorrynotsorry it's great and I'm not ashamed. Nice peaceful watch that distracts you from remembering that we have a 239 lb bologna log "guiding" our country in an emergency.

Me and the Mrs. just watched The Aeronauts on Amazon "Optimis" Prime. It was pretty good, very intense. It was like Gravity, but 1800s hot air balloons. I recommend it.

Watched Love Wedding Repeat on Netflix last night. Entertaining. Really good cast. I couldn't stop saying "Oh my god," staring at Olivia Munn the entire time. But it also has Aisling Bea who sounds like the funniest trumpet you've ever heard. A dude from GoT, the main guy from People Just Do Nothing, and Freida Pinto.

Also binged the entire first two seasons of Killing Eve over the weekend. Not sure why i didn't catch onto that show earlier. I think i just didn't know i liked Sandra Oh. But, Jodie Comer is awesome. Scary, actually. And then you watch an interview with her, and it's like Holy crap.

One of the 30 for 30's that almost never gets played but is one of the best is "Hillsborough". It's part of their soccer story series. My personal favorite. Really heartbreaking story.

Just curious if we could start a thread with some good movie options during this time with nowhere to go. I will start...my wife and I are watching Bohemian Rhapsody tonight...

One of the things I've been watching is The Last Kingdom on Netflix. It's historical fiction about the Danish / Viking invaders nearly conquering all of England back in around 700-800 AD. The "last kingdom" is Essex, in the south of England, and the last King fighting for Christianity against Celtic / Norse Gods (Wodin / Oden).

There's a guy who's kind of like a more manly John Snow. Pretty well written, a poor man's Game of Thrones, minus the dragons, of course.

Lawrence of Arabia was such a great film - David Lean directed, right?
I even went and got the PBS documentary about the historical T.S. Lawrence.
Quite an interesting time in history. It could have turned out so much better.
