I think it's like the BC game with Sidibe. In that case, PC was playing well, so JB didn't bother putting BS in. In this game, Matt would play if he can go in an absolute emergency. I'd be shocked if he plays. I'm surprised he traveled and I don't put too much stock in him having practiced. As OrangeYaGlad said, I chalk this up to gamesmanship and maybe Matt could limp around out there in an emergency but I'm skeptical.
