My gut is Mali is gone.

You go when the iron is hot. Is it hot for him? Hard to say, definitely warm. One more year, and I think it's boiling over.

Either way, if he leaves now, we can thank him for the win over UVA and getting the Cuse to the FF.

Quick, someone throw some cold water on that iron!

Idiots are certainly pissing him off on twitter. Got McCullough involved now & advisong jom to "test the waters".

He doesn't shoot it well, he can't finish at the rim consistently, and his defense is a question mark because he plays zone. I said in another thread I think his raw talent is worth a look in the second round (I'm hardly a scout).

If he comes back and he kills it (likely IMO) he's a lottery pick.

Ugh, we just can't hold these kids. I get it from their perspective, but it stinks for us. We would generate a ton of excitement for next year. Just think at best Mali is picked 20-30 range, which is a guarantee of nothing in the NBA.
That's a guarantee of millions of dollars...

Now if he doesn't go before 30...he's looking at no real guarantees...

Stop making sense on posts like these.

at this point seeing we have had absolutely zero luck the past few years with kids leaving I already have him and lydon gone in my mind and if they come back great.

I dont know if there is a university who gets messed when it comes to kids leaving like we do

Other schools have obviously had more kids leave early, but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that has seen so many non-lottery picks leave early. It seems our guys tend to leave a year too early, hoping they avoid leaving a year too late. With SU as a program that doesn't necessarily get many top 20 talents, it's tougher to replace these kids that leave early, right away. This might the biggest advantage to JB's short bench!

Thomas Bryant would have 100% left after this season if he were in Orange. I just get tired of it.

I really do not understand how our fans can be this stupid...

This isn't the first time it's been a problem... We really need to start treating our players better or we get what we deserve.
If you ever go to the cesspool near us, you can find many who are problem cases. That's why they arent' on this board.

It has ZERO impact on the University.

And I think this is part of the reason we struggled two years ago. We lost kids we thought were going to be back to help us. Players leaving early, finally caught up to us. I don't know if it had as much of an effect on this year's season as I don't think there was anyone we expected to be around. CM always seemed like a 1 and done type to me.

My gut is telling me "No More Mighty Taco"
"That wasn't your gut."
