You go when the iron is hot. Is it hot for him? Hard to say, definitely warm. One more year, and I think it's boiling over.
Either way, if he leaves now, we can thank him for the win over UVA and getting the Cuse to the FF.
Quick, someone throw some cold water on that iron!
"I don't care for any nick nacks... I want a real man."
And Georgetown still sucks. It's 4 PM
Tick tick tick...
hey you're good at this!He was gone as soon as that 4 minute stretch against UVA happened. You all need to save yourself the anguish and just accept it
Hulk??
Juts my gut from what I am hearing
The impression I am getting is that he will declare - no agent. If it's 50-50...he goes as I think he really wants justification to declare. But...he has some grounded people surrounding him who will advise him to stay if the situation warrants it.
Malachi does have pretty good stats for a freshmen:

It might be enough.
You just know that there are some paranoid NBA people that will look at a player opting out of getting feedback that immediately assume it's because the player's trying to hide that they aren't that good.I tend to agree but from what ive been hearing there's a bit of a concern about blowing your real true chance...retreads not welcome type of thing
The only one I really think left too early is Greene. Devendorf had a kid to support plus the off the court issues. If Fab hadn't needed to be suspended twice he probably would have left at the end of that season anyway but we'd love him even if we didn't win the NC. The one here made the right move. I think Malachi will benefit from one more year here, but if he is outstanding in the tryouts and projected to go high I won't say he will be wrong to leave.Aside from Rakeem Christmas, have we ever had a McDonald's All American stay more than 2 years?
Devendorf - 3
Greene - 1
Flynn - 2
Fab - 2
Waiters - 2
MCW - 2
Coleman - 4
Malachi - ??
It seems to me that some of y'all are bashing the messenger because you feel that might somehow discredit his intel. Anyone with half a brain knows what he was getting at. All this vitriol and immaturity can only bring bad karma for the eventual outcome. All signs point to mal declaring. Let's just hope he leaves himself wiggle room to back out.
There has been no "vitriol." Some people are way too damn sensitive.According to the new rules I thought he can change his mind after the combine and still be eligible? So I imagine there will be a lot of players testing the waters. I think "vitriol" is too strong of word. I haven't seen it like it was with Tyler Ennis. Mal took us to a final four as a freshmen. That's a pretty good contribution to Orange basketball. As someone else said on one of the threads, I'd rather have him for one year as a freshmen and make it to the final four than not have him at all.
Darn it I always miss everything!Or those posts were deleted. Like a dozen of them.
