Yeah but tobacco kills you dude! It is both extremely addictive and it kills you! And you can still buy cartons of the stuff at any convenience store or gas station in the entire nation to your hearts content (or discontent). Not much of a WAR. "Made war on tobacco" meaning a highly successful campaign to educate the public on it's horrible effects and reduce/eliminating usage in public places. But you can do it without going to prison. Marijuana should be the same way.

And I 100% acknowledge that the long-term effects of marijuana use on the human brain are still in the process of being fully understood. I wouldn't want my kids being daily stoners.
