NBA 2017-2018 thread

Damn, that's a helluva a deal for Sacramento to get Giannis 2.0 just for Malachi.

Toronto has done a fantastic job of developing players via the G-League. The G League players in Toronto get treated very well, and they play in the outskirts of Toronto and share many of the resources.

Delon Wright, Paskal Siakem, Fred Van Vleet, Norm Powell have all spent time in the D-League in prior years and are now valuable members of the team.

This might be as good as an opportunity as any for Malachi to develop,

The Laker trade is basically Lebron and a 1st rounder for Clarkson and Nance.

Great trade by Lebron. He gets everything he wanted.

Cleveland literally did a rebuild on the fly.

Sounds like Thomas is going to get bought out. Crazy year for him. He got hurt just as he was on the verge of getting a big deal smh.

Thank God I have this place and you all to keep my head from spinning around completely with the shyte show that today is. Has to be one of the most entertaining trade deadlines I can recall.

These people who think LeBron is staying in Cleveland have no idea how much of a tool Dan Gilbert is.
He gives Dolan a run for worst owner, maybe even worse.

There's been talk that Gilbert may unload the Cavs, maybe he'll sell to a group LeBron and his people could put together. Can a player be part-owner?

Can a player be part owner, 3/4 gm, 1/2 time coach, and MVP? Only if it's LeBron.

Woj:
Orlando has traded Elfrid Payton to Phoenix for a second-round pick, league source tells ESPN.

Steal for Phoenix.

Wonder if his hair stylist is headed west, too, as part of the deal.

ISO Joe is likely coming to Boston after he gets a buyout from Sacramento.

When IT gets bought out he needs to come back to Boston.
Finish the year get a proper send off and try and get his money out there.
He would be a perfect 2nd unit scorer.
Kyrie’s minutes could be cut back and he can go after a ring.

Toronto won’t want him.
East playoff teams all have their guards.
Can’t see any contender giving him a starting job.

I'd rather let Rozier continue to grow his game.
