NBA Summer League Discussion Thread

KCP having a horrible game so far for Detroit, 0-7 and 0-6 from 3.

Tomorrow Cuse related games are 76ers(MCW, JS) vs Pacers(Flynn, hopefully he plays) at 1pm and Celtics(Fab) vs Pistons at 3pm. No other team has a pesky pain in the butt defender like the Rockets had in Beverley, so I expect MCW to have a better time limiting the turnovers the rest of the way. Besides the slow start, I thought Fab had a solid game overall today but he has to bring it tomorrow inside against Andre "The Giant" Drummond, who was just bullying kids inside today on the Nets. If Drummond could ever find a motor and develop some offensive skills, then it'll be scary to see what he could become. tho;)

Good call on Drummond. Crazy talent and defensive skills.
He will make it as a decent center one day.

Wait, there was something I wanted to mention that's escaping me right now.

Flynn is abusing him right now on offense. Great pass for an oop. hit an open 3. Blew by mcw and drew the foul.

MCW is continuing to pass and drive extremely well.

You can't entirely blame the TWolves system. Besides the injury, Flynn has some flaws in his game. Wes too. He couldn't get off the bench on that lousy PHX team until the last 1/4 of the season when they were clearly done.
 
At work so I have to watch the game later when I get home, but very happy to hear that the Cuse boys are playing well especially Flynn. 0 turnovers at the half for MCW=PROGRESS!!!!Triple Tee.jpg
 
Halftime MCW 8 pts 5 ast 2 reb 1 stl and still zero TO ( assuming the box score is correct). Only bad I see is 3-9 shooting. Outside of Wyatt and to a lesser extent Kazemi - sixers summer roster is pretty bare. Dirty with 3 pts on 1-2 from the outside but nothing else.

Jonny only got a total of 6 minutes of run- bummer on that note as he was productive when in there.
 
If box scores are correct Pacers are 10-11 from three... not so great perimeter D...
 
now late into the 3rd he has 10, 6, 2 and 2. Really struggling from the field though - 3-14 now... still not the 1-12 Burke put up.. he he he
 
MCW 13 pts 7 ast.. but 4-16 shooting. Indiana 14-17 from 3.. ouch. Pacers have a lot more 2 yr or more guys ...

MCW got rejected 3 times at the rim by Plumlee in about 10 minutes. In other games, how about Olynyk?! Guy was showing it all last game.

Yeah sounded like a rough game for him. Also 4-20 from the field - ouch. Wyatt had 25 this time. Since James isn't getting a lot of run - seems like the sixers have zero outside shooting this summer league. MCW will have to learn to find ways to score - and that doesn't mean taking enough shots so that you get double figures with 20 attempts. Looks like he is being aggressive at least.
