Yeah sounded like a rough game for him. Also 4-20 from the field - ouch. Wyatt had 25 this time. Since James isn't getting a lot of run - seems like the sixers have zero outside shooting this summer league. MCW will have to learn to find ways to score - and that doesn't mean taking enough shots so that you get double figures with 20 attempts. Looks like he is being aggressive at least.

He seemed to have too much tunnel vision when trying to get to the basket. Needed to dump off some passes to others instead of challenging Plumlee. He was def being aggressive.

Yeah - one thing that I think will help him is being aggressive irregardless. Turner IMHO was way too passive for them and therefore his size did him no good as he basically turned into a jump shooter with poor accuracy. With experience hopefully the tunnel vision will improve. It was something that plagued him at times for us last year too in that he attacks and then makes an immediate sometimes pre-meditated decision vs surveying, prodding and then making a decision to attack vs dish it off.

Also - I am aware that its one of those highly controversial/ grammar experts say its not a word type of words . I also used it in the context of a short way to say regardless of any circumstance. Instead of saying that just used irregardless.

I am not sure if it is regional or not but I picked up using it casually from a professor on the hill who used it all the time and it stuck.

It's a nonstandard word, because it is a doublenegative of the word regard. Some dictionaries list is as a nonstandard word, because it is so commonly used. You basically said your sentence that "i think will help him is being aggressive without without regard." I think regardless would work just fine without using irregardless.

Oh I got you and completely understand. It is one of those non-standard words that just get sort of lumped into the english language. As noted the context with which I have been around it was simply a way of being non-specific to what you aren't regarding. Of course regardless works fine as well by definition its just one of those words that becomes habit to use in a non-formal setting.

Getting back to b-ball. I read that Jonny Flynn will also be playing for the Clippers SL squad out in Vegas. Clippers signed Darren Collison over the weekend to be CP3's backup, but Collison had an awful year last season and lost his starting spot on occasions to Dinosaurs like Derek Fisher and Mike James. I'm sure they'll love to add another PG for depth if CP3 ever gets injured or Collison stinks up the joint again.

Thats great - and it can only benefit Jonny to get some extended run against NBA competition ( approximately at least).

its just an expression used that only irritates the grammar perfectionist.. i consider myself a moderate there so its one of the few i will use carelessly..
