Can the Knicks find a mark to take both Fournier and Kemba off their hands?
This team NEEDS a real PG. Can't the front office see that?

Pacers LOL. These guys have no clue what they are doing.
I don’t think you can really trash teams that are able to get a first round pick for someone they simply don’t want infesting their team anymore. They got more for him than Portland did with their trade the other day too and the guys Portland got rid of are better.

We’ll see with the potential Turner/Sabonis trades though. Those have a lot more potential to be bad for Indy.

Can I interest you in a Westbrook?

What’s with the lottery protection on the 2022 pick for Cleveland ? Fake asset protection.

I think a Simmons for Harden trade greatly improves them though. It greatly balances out their team.

but that would be under the context of expecting Kyrie to be a reliable franchise player type and, well….good luck.

It would be good for the Sixers too since Simmons isn’t even playing.

Would LOVE to see the trade happen and then both teams meet in the ECF at full strength.
I thought the rockets should have traded for Simmons last year instead of the nets pick heavy package.. as if the pick swaps are going to come into play with the bottom feeding rockets ..

Rockets right now could have a team of Simmons , Maxey , Mobley , wood , sengun and be well on their way to relevance .. instead we got early high potential bust Jalen chucker green and a bunch of non-lotto picks that stone will up

The East is so close.

Milwaukee and Brooklyn are the
Best teams.

Chicago and Miami are scary.

Charlotte is the team that can upset one of the top teams.
Boston and Toronto will win a couple of games and lose first round.
Cleveland has a fun team but come playoff team won’t scare anybody.

First time in a while the East from top to bottom is better than the West.
Phoenix and Golden State are the two best teams though.

They are only 3.5 games above the playoff spot line (Brooklyn)
Although unlikely, they could get in the play in (get eliminated in the play in) and be part of the lottery. That team would then have about an 8% chance of a top 4 pick.

Might as well play it safe.

Maybe Charlotte has played better against other teams, but I have seen them play twice against the Raptors in the past few weeks and they (Charlotte) have been unimpressive / bad in those games.

They are in 9th and not really trending in the right direction. They will have a hard time to even clear the play in (assuming they are against two of the Celtics, Raptors, Nets).

I assume the Nets will get back on track at some point and avoid the play in. That being said it will not be easy for them. They are 3 games behind 5th spot.

And they are now 0.5 game behind the Raptors who have been 15-6 in the last 21 games, and have a very easy schedule to close the season.

To me the top 3 in the East are Milwaukee, Miami, and Brooklyn. But Brooklyn could implode

I must catch Charlotte on their good nights, because whenever I watch them…they play well and usually win. Lots of my family lives down there so I take an interest.

Seems like they’ve got a nice 6 guys when healthy. But that record is borderline. Ball gives them their first potential superstar since pre back injury LJ and Zo. As good as Kemba was for them, his ceiling was only so high. Ball’s potential is so high. Bridges could become a perennial all star too. Could be a heck of a duo long term.

The interesting thing about the East is that if any of Big 5 right now goes into a slump / has an injury, they can easily fall into a play in game as the #7 seed. Brooklyn should turn it around, and the Raptors and Celtics are both trending in the right direction and only 3 to 3.5 games behind the 3rd to 5th place teams.

Purely looking at the stats - they are 2nd in pace and 9th in offensive efficiency. Its the formula of a team that will often look good.

But they need to figure it out defensively. Don't think it is their time to have any success in the playoffs, but with a foundation of Bridges/Ball they should keep growing. Just my opinion however.

Anytime you can pay CJ McCollum 2.5x what you pay Josh Hart and give up draft picks you gotta do it.
Pels are really questionable.

Whole trade makes more sense when you see it. Nance too and Pels get rid of Satoransky and NAW who has been wildly inconsistent but has potential. Pels needed shooting desperately. First round 2022 is fine which was top 10 protected to Charlotte and Pels have 50 2nd rounders so losing 2 isn't going to kill them

Eventually you have CJ, BI, Herb Jones, Zion, and JV as your starting line up. BI has been really running the offense for the most part. Nance, Hayes bigs off bench. Graham and Alvorado back up guards, Trey Murphy for additional shooting off the bench. Lewis was playing well before the knee injury

I thought the may go after Sexton

I think Cleveland is better than you say, but otherwise agree. I think Charlotte can get an upset, but that's about it.

I still think if Milwaukee is healthy, even if they end up like the three or four seed, I still think they win it all.

The number of losses they have when the big three play together is not a ton. Plus, I believe Giannis is the best basketball player in the world at this moment.

So now the Lakers are trying to trade THT?

I thought he was their savior.

surprised that SAC would trade Haliburton
I don’t understand this trade for Sactown.. unless they have some deal ready to go where they spin Sabonis to a contender .. otherwise you just traded a really good young player with a nice contract to win now ?

No idea wth either team is doing here.

I get Indiana unloading guys, but unless you have a plan to get Brogdan out of town...

and now Duarte is stuck behind Buddy
