The midwest would be basically the Big Ten Tournament all over again. More than half of the region would be from the big 10.
The refs are indeed trying to ensure a Kansas victory. Last two calls were awful.Complete ref show for Kansas
So the regular season shouldn’t have meaning?Teams play the regular season to earn seeding. But if you keep reseeding the tournament you are over-rewarding the season accomplishments. The team who wins should be the team who wins, not the team with the best pedigree, which would be what would happen if you kept reseeding.
The regular season gives you your seeding. That's meaningful. Getting the #1 seed gives you the easiest path to the FF, theoretically. So the regular season shouldn’t have meaning?

Here is the issue… which of the 4 teams that made the 2nd round between Tennessee, Duke, FAU, FDU had the easiest path to the F4? That would be FAU. Nothing FAU did this year or in the NCAAT earned that easiest path, nor do they deserve that path. FDU doesn’t deserve the 2nd easiest path, yet it is fair to say they earned it by beating Purdue.
Reseeding eliminates the luck if the draw.
It has meaning. It just doesn’t mean everything. Reseeding punishes playing well at tournament time. But most importantly it neuters the tournament’s one real claim to inherent excitement, which is held in the ability to root against the tough teams in your path. You would seriously punish the underdog. And kill fan excitement. But sure why not!So the regular season shouldn’t have meaning?

Need Kansas because they have better shot to beat uconn..
Not quite the sameThat blocking foul on Kansas was called a charge on Flip in the Duke game.
It's hilarious that the Kansas kid thought it was a charge
This is great news for Uconn. Which is bad news for America
