Never suggested that the one year in college had much of anything to do with them becoming NBA players, but not sure why you would credit a school with a player's achievements if he never actually took the court there.
I'm not attributing anything to you - didn't mean for my post to come off as being directed at you in particular. I was just using your point about Kanter because it always bugs me that anyone would say "look how successful coach so and so is at getting players into the league." Kanter is the perfect example of this. The players Calipari gets are going to league no matter what. Unless he knee-caps them with lead pipes, there is no way he is affecting their draft status in any way. Any major program will provide the necessary exposure and high level competition for the great players to shine. (So what I'm saying is the school shouldn't credited for any of them - not just Kanter.)
