Coach Scott Pugh’s “Committed Combine 44” will take place this weekend (Dec. 3-4) outside of Baltimore, MD and will feature some of the top committed players in the country. The two-day event is broken down into two field training sessions on Saturday, an evening leadership workshop with Adam Bradley (Lead ‘Em Up), Sunday morning weight room session with University of Maryland men’s lacrosse strength & conditioning coach Ryan Cotter, culminating with a full-length game on Sunday powered by East Coast Dyes. It is pretty amazing what Ira has done in that area. From what I can tell there had only been 2 brothers in the Triad area go D1 in the past 15 years. Ira's program has generated 8-10 commits in the past year. He has his boys playing against the best programs out there.
Much of Triad Elite’s success started with the face-off unit, led by tough-nosed face-off midfielder Adam Shea (Page, N.C.) who used good technique and leverage to win the ball consistently. He also recorded four points, mostly pushing transition. Shea’s wing play, led by LSM Landon Clary (NW Guilford, N.C./Syracuse), also was helpful
