NFL Draft Thread: Apr 24-26

I don't think McCord will make it in the NFL but I find it weird that teams won't take a gamble on him with one of these late picks when the risk reward ratio is crazy in your favor.

Sure, why not.
A bunch of morons. They need a whole roster and they pick 2 qbs and 2 rbs? If you wanted Sanders, why pick Gabriel, an old, undersized, weak-armed qb? Mind-blowing.
They would have been better off just picking the best players available from OSU in each round.

27% of the draftees are DTs & edges, & no Fadil?

I honestly didn't think he was that good last year. He was always out of position, gave up the corner too easily, seldom got to the QB. Take away his games against Ohio and UNLV, and he had 3.5 sacks in 8 games. I didn't see him as a difference maker.

For the teams that need a QB (not sure how many are left), they're probably thinking, 'why pick a QB now if I don't have to? nobody else is picking QBs so there will be options when I want to make a decision.'.

Just my opinion but I think Howard, McCord, Leonard, and Ewers are probably seen as approximately the same value at this point.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Eagles drafted Kyle McCord later in this round if he's still there. Howie Roseman famously said the Eagles were a QB factory when they drafted Hurts after signing Wentz to a long term deal. They seem to draft a QB quite often.

grabbing a QB first 2 rounds is gonna cost some major cap. QB's in the 4th and 5th can be signed for a song. it's all about the benjamins. brady and purdy's rookie contracts were a steal.
