It's pretty clear to me that NFL scouts have no idea who's going to be successful at the QB position. They are constantly chasing the most recent guy who sees success. They base everything on comps and comps don't mean diddly at the QB position since each successful QB is kind of a unicorn. Shough and Gabriel going ahead of Sanders and McCord is laughable, but they can justify it because when they squint and hold their head at a certain angle Shough reminds them of Josh Allen and Gabriel reminds them of Baker Mayfield.
