I don't understand how you trade 2 3rd round picks and a 4th to go up one spot, for a guy who is probably going to be there at 3 anyway..

Obviously they thought someone else might jump them for him. Same thing happened a few years back with Trent Richardson

Browns now have plenty of ammo to trade for Patriots QB Garoppolo. Have the 25th this year, 2 first-rounders next year and three 2's in 18.

I am expecting Jimmy G for 25, another 1 and 2.

Told you a while ago this trade was never going to happen. NE has a 40 yo QB that is prolly one hit away from retirement. The Browns, like most NFL teams, view these NFL picks as bars of gold and are reluctant to part with them unless they get more draft picks back.

another year of finding out on twitter who the pick is because the networks are on commercial break for the Giants.

I swear they do it on purpose because they know the NY market is completely tuned in at that point.

its like the schedule...every single year, the Giants will find themselves on all 4 networks in the 1st 5 weeks.

that Saturday draft day was great.

as someone who went to the draft often in the 90s and then went to the Giants Stadium parties in the 00s, I can tell you it was quite the event.

that said, as an old man...I like this set up.

I enjoy the 3 days, really enjoy the time off between the 1st and the 3rd & 4th, for both me and the teams to catch their breath and get a smart pick going.

giving the Giants hours to work out a trade to jump to the top of rnd 1 and take future Defensive MVP and maybe League MVP Landon Collins...was a beautiful thing.

it will be more fun for me tonight without having to go from the NYR ::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang: the NYY to the Draft.

just NYY and the Draft makes it soooo much easier.

Brady is a freak of nature, so who knows how many years he has left, but you have a guy on your roster who could be a franchise qb, don't give him up. Maybe Brady wins the sb again, and decides I'm going to give retirement a shot. I think Bill has a plan for Jimmy G, to prove that he can win without Brady.

either way, I would love to see him in an another uniform, ultimately benched for the next ryan leaf...

id stop streaming WFAN & buying the Post and start streaming WEEI and buying the Globe or something.

I don't see Brady playing elsewhere as this would be a time ownership got involved.

Brady isn't going to go from 2 years in a row runner up for MVP to garbage.

He will fall from MVP status to Eli Manning status before he becomes crap.
