I think they should have a Bye before playing Thursday, Ive laid out my plan here numerous times...it includes an 18 week season,no Thursday’s other than week 1 till bout week 5 and the SuoerBowl on Presidents Weekend.

But you ‘snowflakes’ here are worried about too many snowflakes for some of the playoff games.

Can’t win.

Remind me why they didn’t cancel thanksgiving football 75 years ago??!

However we don’t need it from week 2 till week 16.

Just do it from Thanksgiving till the end of the year.

I agree with your proposal on the schedule it makes sense. I wouldn’t do an 18 game season but a 2nd bye isn’t dumb. It gives every team an extra bye and gives TV an extra week. Make every team come off a bye and TNF you can sell me on it. Without that I don’t care to see Jets-Browns week 3 or the other crap games we get on TNF.

And that he’s another HOF caliber player player Ben has played with, I think the # is around 8 (Eli at ZERO)...and if Barkley runs for 1600 yards and Eli passes for 4K...again...people will say Eli sucks and only had good #s because of Barkley, as they try and make us think they are not in their knees for immobile Ben who also got to throw to Ward and Bryant.

I didn't know you were excluding defensive players. The Steelers had eight HOFers on offense? I guess you're including Swann, Bradshaw, Stallworth and Harris. I get your points on Eli and they're valid to a point. But I'd take Big Ben in a heartbeat over Eli.

Tiki, Plaxico, Toomer, Shockey, Jacobs, Bradshaw, Smith, Manningham, Cruz, OBJ. I could go on.

QBs elevate skill position talent.
The biggest notch Eli has over Ben is that Ben has only beaten Tom Brady 2 of 12 times they have played while Eli has 3 wins over Brady.
That isn’t anything special but it’s Manning’s best argument.
I would take Ben over Eli though if I had to pick one.

If he beat Peyton twice I would have said the same thing.
The defense of Eli by Giants is unbelievable.

Eli’s support cast has always sucked, it’s just that recently it’s sucked at epic proportions.

He really has elevated a ton of subpar talent, as you were kind enough to mention.

You also left out Boss and Ballard and the great Ruben Randle who’s #s were better than some of the jokers listed.
