Hate to interrupt the Patriot banter but that was one helluva 4Q and OT by Mr. Wentz. That team has been decimated by injuries. I didn't even know 3-4 guys out there. Third string backup TE (Perkins) was used as a wide receiver. Can somebody tell Dougie P that Wentz has the highest QBR rating in the NFL outside of the pocket? Tip of the hat to Eli. He played well, particularly in the 1H.

Peterson moved Wentz out of the pocket a lot in the second half. And picked up the tempo.

Don't know who they're gonna have catching passes on Sunday, though...

Yup. I think he had to cuz L Johnson was out at RT and Big V did his best imitation of a subway turnstile.
 
I've heard the excuse that doubts Patriots would bother spying on the Bengals. While I doubt they were spying, I also don't put it past the Patriots to do exploit every possible avenue to further their advantage against any team, no matter how bad that team is. Trust me, Billy boy doesn't take any team for granted. He looks at every game as a fight to the death. again, im not saying there is anything untoward going on here..just saying claiming it was the bengals as proof of innocence is naive.

I just wish it was a Patriot on Sunday who read the special teams coach from the Ravens notes when they blew on the field and the ref took them and stuffed in his pants.
That would have been another cheating scandal as well.

To be fair, they literally used this as their excuse for Spygate too, so it has in fact been going on for far more than just a year.

During spygate they were on the field.
Why would they put employees in team merchandise in the PRESS box for everyone to see.
The Do Your Job documentary’s show what they were doing.

Literally they could put a guy in the stands use an iPhone and it’s legal now:
I get people wanting to bust balls but if people just use their heads they know this time it’s nothing. If people want to bust balls go ahead. To believe anything more it’s pointless to discuss.

Booger had a beauty about hydrating on cold evenings as well. Said it's same as warm weather and that you have to drink more fluids on cold weather game days?? What Is it the same or is it not Booger? The guy just keeps talking crap. he's absolutely one of the worst ever.

I am okay with busting balls and honestly am fine with it.
I can’t stand the 15-25% who believe it’s something it’s not.
Good natured ball busting is fine.

They admitted the mistake something that didn’t happen the other times where they dug in fought which tells the situation for what it is.

I understand it doesn't make logical sense, but during Spygate, they were literally told to tell people they were just filming as part of a team show if they got caught, just like they did this week.

Edit: Also, just to be clear, I'm not saying the Patriots definitely cheated on purpose here or anything. Just pointing out that the idea that it's crazy to think they "started doing this docuseries a year ago as a cover-up for their cheating" isn't really crazy...it's literally what they planned to do in the early 2000s too.

To me, it's more palatable if a team cheats by paying player's a bounty for big hits and QB kill shots.

Or using PEDs (like virtually everyone in the NFL must be or has at some point).

Filming and spying is so counter to football's macho culture.

For the record, I don't think the latest Patsy cinematography kerfuffle is cheating.

It just got me thinking why people react viscerally to a Patriots employee with film equipment.

but admitting it, to me...means they do not want an investigation.

lets take the wrap for this and hit the playoffs.

an investigation may uncover things they dont want uncovered.
