I laughed out loud at the incompetence of this. The fact that he was saying it literally as the replay was showing the exact opposite of what he was saying made it that much better.

As a Patriots fan, at this point, I’m leaning into it. They are either colossally fraudulent or colossally stupid, and guilty or not they are always going to be guilty until proven innocent. I’m not gonna try to defend or change anyone’s opinion of them. They’ve given me the best 20 years of NFL fandom that any team has given its fan base over a similar stretch. I’m a fan warts and all.

Point of clarification, they got hit pretty hard for spygate (which they deserved)and the leagues Michael Jordan got docked 3 games for DeflateGate (which he didnt). I’m not sure what more you want.

Steelers were accused by the Giants of having deflated footballs and then the complaint got swept away nobody cares.
Steelers are found to have violated the injury report with Ben Rothlisberger this year. Get fined again.
Nobody cares.

The Ravens have cheated a lot. Nobody cares.

Patriots would have been better off having their videographer telling the NFL Security that the sideline tape was for his wife. That worked for Peyton Manning.

The Patriots were guilty of filming from the wrong location in Spygate
They got overpunished for Deflategate.
Now this is just people wanting pounds of flesh for Kraft productions being stupid. The video people for the Patriots were working the Chiefs game for the team. The people in Cincinnati were independent contractors.

that tweet has to be bs. I’ve never watched an nfl game and seen the camera focused on the coaches for 8 minutes. The quick glimpses we see of a coach don’t tell us anything.
