Starting his first playoff game next week, big step.

He’ll be on par with Dak if he wins it.

It only took him four seasons.

Not bad for a #2 pick.

I actually did not have you in mind when I was referring to the Wentz critics on this board. I know you know damn well he's a franchise QB. Your beef was with his durability. A lot of that is just good or bad luck.

Btw if it weren't for Wentz the Eagles probably wouldn't have had a playoff game in 2017 and if they did it sure as hell would not have been two playoff games at the Linc. Why is that point so hard for people to comprehend?

It’s probably because the Iggs & TB are the only franchises who won it all with career backups and not their franchise QB.

Ravens (Dilfer) were on that list until Flacco beat the Niners.
Other teams have won with journeyman QBs (Skins with Williams) but they’ve also won with their franchise QB (Theismann).

Chan out of retirement and back in the AFC East lolololololol. Just when I thought the Dolphins might be on their way out of the gutter they go and make the most absurd hire that I can remember in quite some time.

That Eagles team with Foles was not winning playoff games on the road or if they had to play in the wildcard round. Recall they were extremely fortunate to beat the Falcons in the divisional round. Wentz got them to the pole position (and was on his way to the MVP) and then Foles had two monster games from there.

And all of the above takes a little sheen off Wentz because Nick Foles delivered the goods (with a few breaks).

That Iggs team was so talented and well coached even a caveman (Nick Foles) could do it.

It gives a foothold to the “Wentz is a system QB” accusation tossed out by Herr Kaiser.

That Manish Metta story is insane. The Daily News published that story about Gase being behind it yesterday.
They need to hire an IP specialist and prove it wasn’t Metta. If it was Manish he needs to be fired and a public apology to Gase who is a moron.

Cowboys are letting Garrett’s contract expire which is tonight so he isn’t technically fired.

And I guess Wentz is in the playoffs this year cuz of a surplus of talent. Meanwhile the guy with all of the talent around him is home resting his AC joint.

All I know is I enjoy football a lot more when the NFC east teams are fighting for the toilet. The more irrelevant they are the better the playoffs.

This is just stupid. If he's not the top pick in your fantasy draft next year, I don't get it.

But, he skipped a bowl game to be healthy for the NFL draft. No one would want him on their team.

Weren't you saying how the Iggs had the best OL in the league and how Dallas' line was overrated and inferior?

What a difference a few short months make. :p

Yes, the 4th round pick who started (and finished) every game and has already won a playoff game is resting his injured AC joint.

Looks like this may be the first year Wentz might be able to say the same.
