So you just said betting on the Titans is insane ... then you admit to taking them in a survival pool .. which is essentially a money line bet on them .. so by extension. ...
Yeah it’s totally the same thing. My god you got me. Zing. A survivor pool is totally betting a point spread and is the same thing as betting on a team.
I’m busted you got me.

I can't tell you how much heat I've taken for saying Thomas is the best receiver in football.

He's the most irreplaceable player on the Saints roster and that includes Brees and Kamara. He's got 89 targets on the season. The next closest receiver has 32. If he were to go down the season would be over. He's basically TO without the baggage.

I actually thought The Browns moved the ball pretty well against the Pats considering the weather. Unlike the Jets they actually had a good game plan and didn't seem to play scared. Those 3 first quarter turnovers were a killer and the penalties the Browns get every week show me Kitchens is in over his head. Mayfield made some good throws and Chubb was able to run on them. If he doesn't fumble on the 10 yard line and they don't have about 10 false start/procedure penalties that game looks a lot different.

An average LT is worth a crap ton if you've been watching most teams or Syracuse for that matter.

Folks here often propose or suggest trades without taking into account the $$$. He makes a lot of dough and given his production level there is no way on earth a team would part with a second round pick for him. If the NYG can get a #2 pick for him then they should do it yesterday.

Give the Browns a real coach and they will be dangerous.
Browns strengths were dangerous to this Patriots team. If you have the DEs the Browns have you can slow down this Patriots offense with its current OL.

Patriots D was giving the run to the Browns they were playing only 1 LB and a lot of DBs to slow down Browns WRs.
Browns adjusted and Chubb got some yardage.
It did seem though the Patriots shut it down once they got to 17-0 and just played a manilla game to get out of weather and game healthy.

Ravens and Eagles road games will tell everyone if this Patriots regular season will go 16-0.

Cowboys and Chiefs at home I think they will beat.
At Texans if they stay healthy will be interesting as well.

I know some people think he’s already an HOF’er, but I can’t see anyway Lamar has success throwing against them. Take away the Dolphin game and he’s been average throwing.

Clearly throwing vs the pats is not the way to win anyways. Maybe he can win it with his legs and a few well timed throws.

I really don’t know the Ravens skill guys but Gilmore will take away their best WR.
Ravens don’t scare me as much as the Eagles. Eagles have talent and seem like a team that plays to the level of their competition.

It’s insane the NFC has 3 teams at 7-0, 7-1 and 7-1.

12 wins won’t get a bye in the NFC.

Patriots will lose a regular season game but they are undefeated against first or second year QBs the last 4 years.
Lamar Jackson is a lot better than I thought he would be but barring Patriots turnovers I think they win that game.

Mayfield threw the ball pretty well yesterday. You can make plays if they are going to blitz every play and you are accurate. I don't think Lamar is accurate the they are going to try and keep Lamar in the pocket. Penalties killed Cleveland and so did the 3 straight turnovers.

I agree the next two games will give a better sense of how much Patsies have feasted on cream puffs or if they're truly dominant.

The Bills have the best OL they've faced to date and I'd say Buffalo's is pretty good but not the strength of their team.

Not knowing the Ravens OL, but knowing how much Lamar's running helps it, that will be an interesting match up.

Iggs OL looks to have gotten their stuff together against Buffalo. If they're healthy when NE comes to town then I expect a Philly win (assuming no early deficits that force Philly to throw it).

Patriots won’t zero blitz Brees.
They did it effectively against Rodgers last year.
Baker made a few plays against the zero blitz but your right stupid penalities killed their drives.

Good experienced QBs will make some plays against the Patriots D but these young QBs are getting killed.
It’s why I think Wentz is the guy to beat them.
Dak and an injured Mahomes will be in the road.
Watson has been good so I think the Patriots will go 15-1 or 14-2 if Texans can break their curse.

I'm not sold on Wentz yet either. He's been under 200 yards 4 of the past 5 games and has 4 games completed less than 60%. They've underachieved.

The team acquiring would get him for 2 years/$27m which is less than any starting caliber LT is available for in the open market so I think maybe you are the one not looking into the financials and just guessing he would be overpaying by the acquiring team which is not the case. Giants would be hit with the $13m dead cap.

Pats D shut down the Buffalo offense.
That game would have been a blowout if the Patriots OL could block Buffalo’s impressive D.

I think the way to beat NE is your QB has to make plays when the Patriots are blitzing and trusting their CBs on islands.

The Giants scored a TD when Golden Tate won a 50/50 ball on a blitz and the Pats DB fell.

The Patriots won’t play zero blitz that much against Chiefs or a QB like Brees.
The cowboys would be smart to play a ball control game and try to steal the game with their D.

If the Giants convert Solder’s 2019 salary to a signing bonus they could trade him to anyone. They would be eating this year’s salary on their cap but the team trading for him would inherit the running non signing bonus money in future years.
So Solder’s salary for 2-27 million would go on to the team acquiring him future cap and the Giants by converting the 2019 salary to a signing bonus would be paying this year’s salary and could trade him to anyone.

Normally id agree because the pats are the pats, but Lamar’s a different breed of playmaker. I think the Pats win but he could have a few tricks up his sleeve.

The Bills offense gained the most yards against the Pats all season. Turnovers killed the Bills (a couple self-inflicted, a couple great plays by the Pats D), but they were definitely able to move the ball relatively well.

Eh, the Patriots would've needed more than better OL play to blow out Buffalo. Brady was crap and the Patsies didn't do much on offense. Buffalo lost because they threw 4 INTs.

If the Cowboys OL is healthy then I like their chances at NE (big IF considering both tackles have already missed games this year).

The Dallas D is nicked up and was playing pretty soft until the Philly game so I don't expect much against the Pats.

Here's hoping Michael Bennett is sufficiently motivated to farq up Twommy.

Bennett was a bad fit in a 3-4 but he didn’t appear washed up.
He just cares about his playing time more than winning and was a pain in the a$$ behind the scenes.

I think the Cowboys-Patriots game will be a 1 score game.

On the Bills game that game they didn’t have a healthy offensive weapon Brady could rely on to get open.
Edelman was a decoy who was hurt and gutted it out.
The Bills D played outstanding and the Patriots weren’t able to capitalize on the turnovers they got with TDs outside of the blocked punt.
A healthy Patriots team likely gets 10 more points if they get those turnovers again.

I guess you're the one that has not watched Solder play this year.

From a NYG (Empire Sports Media) blog this a.m. - "One big question mark is left tackle, Nate Solder, he's become a severe liability to Daniel Jones' health and protection on his blindside. Finding a trade partner for Solder might not be a terrible idea after eight weeks of poor play."

$13.5 million per year for two years and a second round draft pick for a mediocre LT is a massive overpay. If the NYG can pull that off then more power to them.

I agree and posted in another thread - I still think they win the division. They just have to clean up penalties. That said their coach is a moron and they have too much $ tied up in receivers who don't produce.
