3rd and 5th. Not too much. Now Lions trade the 3rd pick to Miami for some 5 plus some combination of 26/39/70 and take Okudah at 5 and roll with Trufant/Okudah and have a bunch of extra picks to go with all their Patriot retreads.
Yup.. 85 and 166. Still have 8 draft picks total and 3 in the top 103. Needed a top flight corner and got one.

Tampa Bucs will still have 30 million in cap space after signing Brady.
Looking like they are top contender for Melvin Gordon.

the bucs inevitable 6-10 finish is going to be epic.

The Bucs went 7-9 with Jameis throwing 30 INTs.
Brady will be worth it just there.
They go 11-5 IMO.
As their schedule isn’t easy.
It’s pretty funny he will play at Denver his personal house of horrors next year.

Belichick isn't great at drafting.
To be fair he has picked at the bottom for so long.
He has had a lot of misses which Brady has covered.

He also does a good job finding undrafted FAs like David Andrews, JC Jackson, Jonathan Jones.

He did draft Hightower, Jaime Collins, McCourty.

He did draft Edelman, James White, Joe Thuney and Shaq Mason.

He did draft Gronk, Vince Wilfork, Richard Seymour all who will make the HOF.
He did draft Jimmy G with the intention of him replacing Tom Brady. Brady just was so good for 2 more years that he had to lose his successor.

The SB win in 2019 makes the move worth it.

His selection of Richard Seymour in 2000 was very criticized at the time but was right.

He has been poor since 2016.
Really Belichick has struggled drafting WRs.

maybe, INTs just dont matter as much...

i didnt see his 30, only 1 for sure.

often they dont matter as its when the game is lost or they count as much as a punt...

regardless, when something looks too good to be true, it is.

His last pass of the season was pick-6 in OT to lose week 17.

Jameis has a lot of dumb throws.

Brady is going to be good. I will root for him to be MVP next year.
I hope the Patriots bottom out get Trevor Lawrence and piss everyone off.

Jameis threw a pick on the opening drive of the game seemingly every single game this year lol. I like Jameis a lot. Next to Brady, I think he was the best QB available on the market. But his INTs absolutely were impactful INTs, both in terms of timing and in terms of points allowed. He literally handed the other team over 60 points this year, and that's not even doing the math on the points that we could have scored if he didn't turn it over/points that the other team scored after a turnover. Just purely on pick sixes and fumbles that were returned for TDs, it adds up to over 60 points last year.

I’m sure he had bad INTs, they all do.

but people don’t care about them unless they fit a narrative.

rivers has thrown for over 20, 2 of the last 4 years and people tell me here how awesome he is.

and stop worrying about Lawrence.

the patsies will make the playoffs and still start him game 1 in 2021.

how? I don’t know.

but it will happen.

Narrative lol. Whole NFL must be subscribing to that narrative. #1 overall pick 4 years ago currently doesn't have a starting job.

theres a ton of reasons why he doesnt have a job.

INTs are just 1 of them.

Can’t wait to trade Donta Hightower to the Lions for a 4th round pick.

Find a taker for Edelman, Gilmore and people say they aren’t a contender for Lawrence.
The Patriots roster right now has 1 elite player, a couple above average defenders, 1 32 year old playmaker, and one good OL men.

12.5% of their cap space is tied to dead money( which is probably the highest in the NFL right now)
They are totally a contender for Trevor Lawrence.
Works great if Lawrence pans out.

Lawrence could be a bust if he doesn’t have it upstairs but the guy is the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck. Before that Peyton Manning.

I would tank this year for Trevor Lawrence if I were Belichick and get the cap space so that when you draft him you can take advantage of his rookie contract.

There's 2. On-field and Off-field. He has failed at both thus far.

They have a shaky ol and defense and a very tough schedule. Brady is 43 at some point he's going to slow down.

I don't know the answer to this but back 15-20 years ago wasn't scott paoli or maybe others doing the draft for NE. Way back then BB was calling all the shots?

NE is + 2000 to win the SB, just behind Philly. Doesn't sound like 3-13 is in the offing.

NFC South is loaded.
Also the fact Gurley is only 25 and he looked washed last year is insane.

RBs need their own rookie wage scale.
But the NFLPA got the players at the bottom of the rosters more bread crumbs and days off during training camp.

It's pretty loaded, but I think the Falcons are not a part of that equation. Still a lot of offseason to go, but they're in my bottom 5 right now.
