More than likely they will but they don't have to. They can call his bluff or try to talk him into staying.
It would be interesting if they would tell him to buy out the no trade clause

Pay back your bonus money and we'll deal ya.
Then his new team will give him
Back that money.
The franchise chose Easterby over Watson.

He is smart to push his way out of that organization.

Until McNair fires Easterby they will be a clownshow.

Don't matter to the Texans if the new team pays it, it would deduct from the immediate bonus acceleration onto their cap. Don't know if I've seen it attached to a trade. Have seen it in retirements.

Word is Mcnair has some serious mental health problems.

Giants will not trade for Watson.

not unless they can the same deal that this boards hero Josh Rosen went for.

The Bucs should wear their creamsicle unis next Sunday.
They returned to them briefly during the Josh Freeman era. Those jerseys are awesome.

Easterby was the Patriots chaplain.
He would handle off the field counseling.
Belichick left him away from personnel.

The dude is a charmer and like Littlefinger in GOT.

How the owner of the Texans let this guy into his head is just sad. I was shocked when Caserio took that job to work with him.
Caserio could have gotten other jobs.

That organization is such a mess.
If they aren't smart they could screw up the Watson trade.

Play the Jets, Panthers and Fins off each other get the best deal and move on.

Public speaking is not the key here.. the total lack of any substance, yikes.
I watched the whole thing last night after work. He was definitely nervous during his opening remarks (which this is a small clip of). It has to be awkward standing at a podium in an empty auditorium talking to reporters via Zoom. You could see him relax more when asked about his assistant coaches, calling plays/schemes, etc. Not going to judge him on his first press conference. For the record, Doug Pederson's was waaay worse.

If your a subscriber the athletic has a good piece on the Eagles coach and his background. Interesting guy.

Only 1 better was Gase.

Judge is SO going to rule this division...

This video shows every pick 6 in Super Bowl history. In the Bucs/Raiders Super Bowl Tampa had three(!) pick sixes in the game.

Lol highway robbery by Detroit and I am not a Goff or Stafford fan.
