The upgrade from Goff to Stafford is probably worth a first round pick and maybe a mid round pick but no chance it’s worth 2 first round picks.

The Rams are going to go 6 years in a row without a first round pick.
This trade is so stupid. Stafford is 33 and gotten injured in the last 2 seasons.

I think the Rams would be happy to pay Stafford. He's a clear upgrade over Goff and the Rams are in win a SB mode. The path thru the NFC looks a lot easier now that Brees/Brady/Rodgers are at the end of their careers

I agree it is a good trade for the Lions but again the guaranteed money is 104 million for Goff, that's insane money for a mediocre at best qb. Its why the rams had to give up so much.

$26 mil a year for the next four years. You're basically not gonna get away with paying a QB a lot less than that unless he's on a rookie deal. Once we return to normal, salaries and the cap will keep zooming upward.

His staffs have been loaded and ransacked the.past 2 years.
I think he micromanages Goff and the media loves him.

Anthony Lynn is a terrific offensive coach. Goff isn’t much different from Stafford IMO.

McVay is definitely overrated from an innovative perspective but his scheme is very QB friendly IMO

I also wondered whether the Lions will try to find a taker for Goff and then use one of the Rams 1st rounders to try to move up this year to grab Wilson/Lance.
